maishai: Recall I told u u won't regret buying the coy !! Aside the dividend declared after the long wait, this financial print from WEMA is showing an appreciable gap up accross core deriavable revenue and earnings line. ...this is KEY !! This bank is now well placed to maintain their growth trajectory going forward. Kudos to all those who adhered to our guide and swiftly bought this coy at btw, 51 to 53k ealier this year. Cheers. 3 Likes |

Sir, but playing in these small small banks is not really healthy for someone's health and well being. The allure is that they can gap up faster than the Tier 1. They have little or no share of the market and their status is not strong enough to withstand little shock in the industry. For cautious investors like mine, always looking to buy the UBA, ZENITH, GTB, ACCESS at bargain. onegentleguy: 4 Likes |

2zona: There seem to be contrasting reports with the amount that was declared. ...initial report yesterday clearly stated a 22k payment until this morning when it was replaced with a financial print showing a 50% cut down to 11k. Now that's not a good sign. ...given that it sends all the wrong coperate governance signals along with it, whether deliberate or not. That said, there is NO need to panic. ...FIDELITY declared a great result over the course of 2018. So it remains a HOLD for me irrespective of the amount declared. Especially if ur in it for the mid to long term. Btw, the bank will be holding a conference call on Monday. ...hopefully they'll clarify the stakeholders on what is actually the proposed amount as dividend declared. Regards. |

onegentleguy: With CAVERTON, I believe that the best is yet to come !! EPS up by approx 65% from 77k in 2017 to N1.27 last year !! With a 25k dividend declared for FY 2018. ...up by ~66% from the 15k declared in 2017. Result shows a tremendous gap up accross all revenue and earnings line !! This financial print is currently the best to have come out of the exchange at the moment. Meanwhile most of the returns (with proceeds from electioneering) and what-have-u, will actually reflect in their result this year !! Again, there were several contracts(I mentioned most of them here) which were brokered last year, and which will effectively come in with greater returns this year. Another is the recent juicy deals with the HONEYWELL GROUP and the THALES GROUP. ...and yet another is the company's maintenance, repair and overhaul(MRO) project, a world class aviation maintenance platform which would see caverton diversify its revenue base and shift focus from their sole reliance in oil & gas related deals nearing completion in a matter of months. Lots of 'goodies' in place for this coy... so I expect that the 2019 calender yr will even fair better. Q1 and Q2 2019 will lead the way in that regard. CAVERTON is a must buy for any deserning investor with an eye for VALUE !! I have since said that coys like AIICO, CAVERTON, FCMB, FIDELITY, UBA, ZENITH, TRANSCORP, MAY & BAKER and LEANAFRICA currently describes investment assets with great GROWTH behind the VALUE and great VALUES behind the PRICE !! Those who know and understand, know what they need to continue to do. A word they say, is enough for the .... But then again, due diligence should still remain ur 1st priority. We continue to observe. 1 Like |

RabbiDoracle:oga don't cook up excuses for all these companies it is becoming too much for them. for how long will they continue to shore up capital this way at detriment of minority shareholders? meanwhile piling up funds for self aggrandizement by management and stealing through the back door. nothing stops fidelity and fcmb from paying at least 25k 1 Like |
