Kayceenaz: I can spot the picture of late Prof (Mrs) Dora Akunyili (May her soul continue to rest in peace). She is the symbol of intellect and courage. A very courageous woman.Combination of rare intellect and courage. Young ladies should emulate this woman instead of slaying or choosing Nollywood actresses as their models . 1 Like |

nicepoker101:Hasty generalization! This is not so in all cases and not peculiar to all women. Some women have proved to be indispensable to our evolution as a race either in culture or business. The Slessors and Awosikas of this world come to mind. 2 Likes |

Only your first and last points are valid. The rest are just more or less extracts from them. Your argument is weak considering the trend in technology and modernity. It will soon get to a point that you'll only need eggs from a female to produce a child. And about empathy, it has become less valued these days. 3 Likes |

Can someone explain the message this guy is trying to pass. Why are you repeating what everybody knows The question we should ask you is can there be humanity in the first place without women And two can humanity be imaginable without men Since the beginning of time both men and women have been playing their roes to get us to where we are today. And wise people know that we are to compliment each other not to compete against each other. But it is sad today that people now believe we should compete instead of complimenting each other. I honestly do not understand the hype today of women are these and that. Like people are confused all over the world today and I cant just really understand why.Just look at what the west have turned into because of this political correct bullshit. SMH!!! 2 Likes |

Woman is God but they don't know it. And contrary to the insinuation by the author that civilizations put women down from origin, that's not true. The first God worshiped by the ancient Egyptians was a female deity- Isis. Its Europeans that began the culture of demeaning women and relegating them to inferior status. Europeans hated women so much that they call humanity ''man''. Unfortunately, their perception has been sold to other cultures courtesy imperialism/slavery/colonialism. And don't tell me about that Mary Sleazor feat as if there were no great African women before her. Below is a list of African queens (head of state) that ruled thousands of years when there were no woman ruler any other place on earth. Queen Mertyt-Neith was Female Pharaoh during the 1st Dynasty of Egyptian monarchy- 3000 BC. Queen Khentkaus was Female Pharaoh during the 4th Dynasty of Egyptian monarchy- 2613-2494 BC. Queen Ankhnesmeryre II was Female Pharaoh during the 6th Dynasty of Egyptian monarchy- 2345–2181 BC. Queen Neithhikret was also a Female Pharaoh during the 6th Dynasty of Egyptian monarchy- 2148-2144 BC. Queen Ashotep was Female Pharaoh during the 18th Dynasty of Egyptian monarchy- 1550–1295 BC. Queen Ahmose was also a Female Pharaoh during the 18th Dynasty of Egyptian monarchy- 1550-1525 BC. Queen Hatshepsut was Female Pharaoh during the 18th Dynasty of Egyptian monarchy- 1479-1425 BC. Queen Nefertiti was Female Pharaoh during the 18th Dynasty of Egyptian monarchy- 1353-1336 BC. Queen Tausret was Female Pharaoh during the 19th Dynasty of Egyptian monarchy- 1187-1185 BC. Queen Sobeknefru was Female Pharaoh during the 12th Dynasty of Egyptian monarchy- 1767-1759 BC. Some of the above women invented diplomacy and diplomatic mission between countries as its known today. 3 Likes |

alert01:I was not referring to sex in my post! Apart from giving birth to new lives, women generally are more caring to humanity compared to men. In most families, female offsprings care more for their parents and siblings than male ones. Again, most societal ills are perpetuated by men than women eg armed robbery, electoral violence, kidnapping, cultism and the rest. 1 Like |

Jman06: You are quick to point out robbery and the rest. What about sciences and engineering where men leads as well?? I don't have problem with anyone praising women after all my mother is best thing that has ever happened to me and my greatest gift. But my point is compliments should not be one sided and we should not try to paint a picture of women vs men. All I see here is people always just want to sound political correct to appease women or somethings. When are you gonna write about what men have done? 3 Likes |
