usermane:This shows that you don't truly believe that Allah is capable of anything and I swear by Allah you should be ready to provide Allah with answers to these statements, if you don't repent. You call Allah a lier?! How dare you? It has become totally obivious to me that you select only what you want to believe in from the Qur'an. You defend what you want to and criticise others. What kind of faith is that? Are you telling me that the messenger of Allah S.A.W and his companions and the pious predecessors are Idiots for believing in him? I swear by Allah there are Muslims who are far more wiser and intelligent and logical than you, who love the Qur'an more than you who have achieved more than you, and they will not say this. I am truly amased by innovations, here infront of my eyes I am preaching to someone it is misguiding... may Allah guide us all, usermane I cannot hid it, this statements is a blow to my eyes and I wished I had never seen it... Truly Allah is merciful. Do you even pray salah or attend Jummuat? Do you not hear the opening speech the Imams make before speaking? The opening speech the messenger of Allah S.A.W makes before speaking to a gathering? Translation: Praise be to Allaah, we seek His help and His forgiveness. We seek refuge with Allaah from the evil of our own souls and from our bad deeds. Whomsoever Allaah guides will never be led astray, and whomsoever Allaah leaves astray, no one can guide. I bear witness that there is no god but Allaah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger O you who believe! Fear Allaah as He should be feared, and die not except in a state of Islam (as Muslims) with complete submission to Allaah.’ [Aal ‘Imraan 3:103], O mankind! Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single person, and from him He created his wife, and from them both He created many men and women, and fear Allaah through Whom you demand your mutual (rights), and (do not cut the relations of) the wombs (kinship) Surely, Allaah is Ever an All-Watcher over you).’ [al-Nisaa’ 4:1] O you who believe! Keep your duty to Allaah and fear Him, and speak (always) the truth).’ [al-Ahzaab 33:70].” After that: the most sincere talk is the word of God, and the best guidance of the guidance is of Muhammad - peace be upon him - and the evil things are updated(constantly renewed) and every innovation heresy, and every heresy is misguidance, and every misguidance is in the fire Fear Allah and repent, follow the Sunnah of Muhammad S.A.W and stop being ashamed of your religion... You will continue to be ashamed until you seek knowledge. It is your choice though, I pray Allah makes it obvious to you that your statement is that of disbelief. May Allah guide us all. 1 Like |

najib632: Read and digest my post. My point is that if you believe in the bolded, then you should have no problem believing in flying horses, whether buraq or pergasus. From a neutral perspective, those stories aare just as factual as the stories from other ancient religions like the Greeks or Nordics. In other words, it is not just enough to believe Allah is capable of all things. Every other religious followers believe their god is capable of all things. 5 Likes |

usermane:There's always a supreme diety in every culture and that's the only diety that can do all things. Many people use the attributes of Allah to create other gods, for example the Hindus. They have a supreme diety and they don't deny that, they formed numerous gods from the attributes of Allah and from His bounties and punishment upon them. I would not be-lie or believe any myth of any culture as long they don't say that the person is a god, but immediately they claim that the person was a god then I know it is a lie. Let me ask you a question brother, are you supporting them in saying that the word of Allah is not perfect? Are you not a Muslim? What concerns you with other peoples myths? Are yours not enough for you to ponder upon? You allow atheists and agnostics to make you ashamed of Islam... Know that Allah is watching and if Allah was to take His retribution for this statement that you made, they will run away from you with their disbelief and say that its just a natural calamity that befell you. |
Re: The Myths In The Quran. by tintingz(m): 4:06pm On Mar 29, 2019 |
najib632:How did you know they use attributes of Allah to create other gods, did you have evidence for this or you just read it from your religious texts? So Allah wasn't created like every other gods? Don't you think an Hindu man will also make same claim as yours that Muhammad use the attributes of their God/s to create his own God(Allah)? Between Brahma and Allah which one is the true god? Your post are always filled with bias, hypocrisy and irrationality, you don't always see the paradox in your argument. 3 Likes |

What are your views on the 365 times occurence of the word 'day' in Qur'an, tintingz? Is this a miracle or not? |
Re: The Myths In The Quran. by usermane(m): 6:03pm On Mar 29, 2019 |
najib632: I believe this paragraph in my response to tinting on Wednesday sums up my position on the religions beliefs, facts or myth: usermane: In practice, there is really no such thing as myth. Each of us hold firmly set of beliefs that others would deem myth. The real problem arises where one person decides their own myth is so factual that they are willing to harm those who disagree with them. This is why I'll support threads like this. If more Muslims see how imperfect the Qur'an can be from a rather dispassionate perspective, there'll be less fanaticism, I guarantee you. Your inquiry of my faith in Islam shows you still don't understand why it is problematic to regard only Muslim religious beliefs as fact, whilst dissing non-Muslim religious beliefs as myth. I do not let my preconceived beliefs cloud my judgement. This is why at the start of this thread, I insisted that I don't buy into tags and labels anymore. I could go into my complex beliefs about the Qur'an but it will detract from the topic of this thread. 2 Likes |

usermane:NO, it's not a miracle but a joke! Like I said in a thread anybody can made up anything from a book and said it's a miracle or mysterious. - The days in Islamic calendar is not even 365 days but 354 or 355 days. Source - The length of days in modern calendar is 365.2425 the approximately used is 365. Source - It has also been debunked that the word "days" mentioned in the Qur'an is over 400 plus not 365 days. Seriously I don't see how this make the Quran a miracle or divine, why is the days not matched with the Islamic lunar calendar?, anybody can made up anything(that's coincidental or not), I can pick up a book and start formulating something out of it. |

tintingz:Allah is Brahma! You have the guts to say that I am bias, a hypocrite and irrational, when on this Nairaland you lied to me that the age of the universe is infinite when it is 14.8 or 14.5 billion years old? You're here acting like We haven't talked about Allah being the supreme diety in other cultures where I told you that Luda is the supreme diety in my culture, is that not hypocrisy? You never come to an agreement or see the truth in an argument is that not the highest form of irrationality? 1 Like |

najib632:Oh Allah is this God? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brahma You have the guts to say that I am bias, a hypocrite and irrational, when on this Nairaland you lied to me that the age of the universe is infinite when it is 14.8 or 14.5 billion years old? That's the time rate when the big bang occur, there's gravitational singularity before that which leads to infinity. Try and understand my argument. You're here acting like We haven't talked about Allah being the supreme diety in other cultures where I told you that Luda is the supreme diety in my culture, is that not hypocrisy? You never come to an agreement or see the truth in an argument is that not the highest form of irrationality?I don't really know about Luda but I'm sure he's a God with pantheon of deities. Kindly visit the traditional people and ask about Luda. Olorun for example is used by both Yoruba Christians and Muslims to refer as God but in traditional belief of Yoruba religion Olorun is originally a God with pantheons(orishas), children and grandchildren. |

tintingz:Yes, He is. But all those 4 or 3 heads and other names are his attributes and that Idol attributed to him is false because no one has seen Allah, that's what I have been trying to make you understand, but no you must frustrate somebody, can't you see that all those other gods they've mentioned's are from the 99 names of Allah? tintingz:My brothers @Empiree and @Kingofdiamond come and see o, Allah has exposed this guys: I should try and understand you after I have found out that you lied to me and took advantage of my ignorance to prolong an argument? Smh. That gravitational singularity happened to the universe at the point of the Big bang only, now it only happens to black holes... I really regret not knowing about this earlier, you see why we tell you people that as long as you're not sincere don't expect guidance. So after all, those things you said were all lies just to convince the ignorant that the universe did not have a beginning. Where's that your fellow lier @Akin1212 he failed to prove the equation wrong and since then I have not heard from him. To show his insincerity too he failed to correct you about your claim. You guys are acting just like minions of the devil except you don't get any payment for your spreading of lies and fabrications in order to misguide people. tintingz:Of course I even mentioned the calabash goddess I think, so don't stop treating people's talk like trash understand them before talking(that's why I get frustrated with you and result to insults), that's why we told you that mankind has always believed in Allah but has always been associating partners with him in worship. |
Re: The Myths In The Quran. by true2god: 11:31am On Apr 22, 2019 |
tintingz:Great response. I have seen many 'numeric miracles' in the Quran and I do consider it childish and amateurish. One can formulate anything from a book using his personal bias. I can pick one of the Shakespeare's book, like THE TEMPEST, and formulate how many time Prospero, and other characters, was mentioned and juxtapose same with any inanimate object to make the book 'a miracle'. Besides, the Quran we have today was not even complied and arranged by Mohammed himself. Some revelations have been cancelled and abrogated which will surely alter the 'numeric value' should one wants to use the real 'Mohammedan' and not the current 'uthmanic' Quran. 1 Like 1 Share |

najib632: Are you the one to tell the Hindus their concept of God is false? If you were born in India there's high possibility you will be worshipping Brahma as God and see the Muslim God as false. You mean Gods having children is part of 99 names of Allah? My brothers @Empiree and @Kingofdiamond come and see o, Allah has exposed this guys:My goodness. The initial singularity was a gravitational singularity of seemingly infinite density thought to have contained all of the mass and space-time of the Universe before quantum fluctuations caused it to rapidly expand in the Big Bang and subsequent inflation, creating the present-day Universe. source The earliest state of the universe during the big bang is called the initial singularity where there's gravitational singularity. Of course I even mentioned the calabash goddess I think, so don't stop treating people's talk like trash understand them before talking(that's why I get frustrated with you and result to insults), that's why we told you that mankind has always believed in Allah but has always been associating partners with him in worship.Mankind has not always believed in Allah just the arabs. |

Re: The Myths In The Quran. by tintingz(m): 9:11pm On May 15, 2019 |
usermane:Adam and Eve in the Quran does not fit in human evolution, humans evolve from lower primate(an ape-like specie) and diverged. And it's said that there are other homo species that went extinct. So I don't think there's a trace of only two parents in the early human evolution. Even if there's, it doesn't still fit in the Adam and Eve in the Qur'an. And it's also said that the population of humans as estimated has never drop below 10,000 individuals. |

How do the scientists know that human population never dropped below 10,000? they wen't back in time? I still ask this question why do scientists not talk about gaint human fossils that are being found? What did those men evelove from and why are there no gaint Apes like them? And why can man not breed with Apes? And why is there the so called Natural selection? Why are things Natural? |
