Hello my people. Am at a tight cross road here
Please don't send me to the provincial thread.I need the mighty ones here to give . I ve a very serious question .it's too serious for just myself and hubby to crack, please great minds here I need to rub minds with una

.Hubby and myself filling EOI for my husband , we ve an express entry profile so we wanna do the substream EE..

we all know that in express entry if you ve masters degree and a first professional degree like law .it's the same mark it equates and my hubby ECA was evaluated as first professional degree by IQAS

.so we choose t [he masters/ professional degree in Express Entry Profile ]now while filling manitoba EOI ,that section for degree attained isn't asked the same way as EE. Here it's just masters no slashing with professional course

I don't know if I shld go ahead to pick the masters .hubby has a degree in Law .LLB . And his ECA has evaluated it as first professional degree

Hope if I choose masters , manitoba mpnp officials won't term this to mean he has LLM. [Masters in Law

Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by joo2018: 10:00pm On Mar 29, 2019
Maybe.

See if you can get a salary certificate too. Check page 1 for a sample.

Bubblefairy:

Many thanks, appreciate it.
For evidence of payments, is it enough if it's stated in the letter that I was paid cash because to get payslips will be quiet hard.

Presently evaluating OND and HND with WES.

Thanks for this info.

Kogigallll:

Someone taught me this;

Please let your school use their OFFICIAL email address to scan your signed, stamped transcripts.

Immediately you know they have sent it, go to their website and follow the process there...
Don't print out form, do it online and PAY immediately.

Then send them a firm email after 72hours.

Took 8 weeks, 2days.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by joo2018: 10:03pm On Mar 29, 2019
Why don't you snapshot the relevant parts, blank out your personal details and attach to a post here.

Mudicua:
Hello everyone,

Trust you all had a nice day. Please please I need someone to help interpret my GCMS notes or give a link where i can find out what all the things they wrote means. My application still says in progress, and nothing new nor different from what I see online.
Please experts and gurus in the house kindly help. Thank you

NB: it was for a student visa applied last year. And i know this is for express entry, but i am thinking some of us may be conversant with the way GCMS notes are written.

Thanks once again.

thank you so much Queencyco. So ICES is it then. Which is better to ask them to do though, post by email or courier?
When you say "go with enough money", do you mean I must be physically present to start this process?

If you're sending someone, please send someone who is proactive and capable of lobbying people to get the job done. Also give the person extra money for tips. He/she may need to tip the typist, registrars sec, computer center people, etc.

Email is faster but do both to be on the safe side. You won't be charged for the email as long as you've paid your normal transcript processing fee. Just request that they email the transcripts before posting and they will do it.

Yes, she can claim points for 3 years as her total work experience exceeds 3 years. She only needs to get reference letter in one of the jobs where her work experience is at least 1 year.

Please can you explain this better, i think I'm in a similar position....can only one reference letter from one of those employers suffice in this case, even when one is claiming points for 3yrs+?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by Nobody: 11:18pm On Mar 29, 2019
Topsmamen:

Okay. So to max out the points under work experience for EE, you would need a minimum of 3 years work experience, right?

Ok. So lemme use an example to simplify this:

Administrative Assistant (1 year)
Secondary School Teacher (2 years)

Total Work Experience = 3 years.
Each of these jobs must have at least a 1-year full-time work experience.

Now it's up to you to select one as your primary NOC (which you will provide reference letter for). For instance, if you want to provide reference letter for the Administrative Assistant job ONLY, you will place this job in your Work History and place the Secondary School Teacher job in your Personal History.

So if you combine both jobs (i.e. placing the 2 jobs in your Work History), you will be required to upload and submit reference letters for both jobs.

But if one claimed the 3yrs+ points during EOI and then upload reference letter for only one of the jobs during the application, won't the person be penalized for it?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 7 by ladymarshall: 11:29pm On Mar 29, 2019
I think it has been clarified by subsequent answers.

You must provide reference letters for all the work experience you are claiming points for, 1 or 10, depending on how many you are combining. As long as the experience adds to your CRS score, you must provide reference for it.

For example,
Scenario 1: if in ABC company I worked there for 3 years as a clerk and i am claiming points for it to boost my CRS score, I must get reference letter from ABC company.

Scenario 2: if in ABC company I worked there as a clerk for 1 year and in XYZ company I worked there for 2 years as an adnin assistant year. And I am combining jobs from ABC abd XYZ Company (3years) to boost my CRS score, then I must get reference letter from both ABC abd XYZ Company.

Do you get? Hope am right sha Newbie ooo*eyes covered*

Congrats!!!
Supergirl1:
People of God, e don land at last oooo

Where I go start from?

Timeline:
Decision to travel: August 2017
Ielts: December 2, 2018.

My babe got better IELTS scores, so we decided she should be the PA. Getting her ECA done was another hurdle on its own. Finally, it was ready and into the pool we went.

ITA: July 25, 2018.
AOR: August 18, 2018.
MEP/BIL: September 18, 2018.
ADR(RPRF): September 26, 2018.

The excitement no be here. We believed we were among the few who get PPR in less than 2 months. We no know say our village people don Dey wear their trainers.

We checked profile tire. If there was a limit to the number of times one could log in to their profiles, dem for don lock us out of the Cic website.

Village people just Dey sip palmy, and watch DStv from the white cloth on Pete Edochie’s wall.

Silence.......

We called, raised CSE, ordered gcms. Everything looked okay, so we couldn’t understand the reason for the delay. Sometimes we got nice agents and other times we got agents that didn’t want to be disturbed. The last avant we spoke to told us to call back by June 2019.

My babe said: “bobo yen ma blow ni.”

So we decided to chill. As it looked like nothing we did would speed up our processing. We also consoled ourselves with the knowledge that we were not alone in this predicament.

Ip2: March 18, 2019.

The update brought mixed feelings. We felt it was close, but didn’t want to waste excitement again like we did in September. Tension was high and almost caused small Cold War between us sef.

Finally, this bright sunny ☀️ morning, we woke up to see PPR sitting pretty in our mail. Looking like a beauty queen.

And the fireworks went off.......

Please what if the role u are NOT claiming points for is your current role. Can this go to personal history?

In addition, must I add this role to my application pre ITA?

Thank you

Stencil:

Topsmamen Bossman smiley I think the way it is worded might confuse some people lol.

Short answer is this.. If you are claiming points for an Experience. Upload a reference letter.

Eg: If you added your experience in 10 different jobs to make up your 3 years (extreme example), You are to upload 10 different reference letters. Just remember that out of those 10 jobs you had, you should have worked for at least one year in one of them.

For jobs you are not claiming points for, those are to be moved to personal history.
