Couldn't agree with you more. I have followed ur posts on this platform assiduously and I can unequivocally state that you are well grounded in the knowledge of this business, not all drivers even old ones understand how this business functions. its not always about the money to function properly in this business. Why will I embark on a trip to Alagbado with my vehicle heavily laden with wedding gifts coupled with problem of bad road at that time of the day when I know I won't get a trip back.

Exactly. Riders self know that drivers reject trips to Alagbado & 'friends' except a newbie or if the driver stays close and want to go home from there.
I got a trip to Alagbado today, I didn't go. I know what I faced the first time as a newbie I went there (bad roads & no requests). Then I didn't know how to reject trips
Next request was to Sango Ota, had to say no as well.
Next request (after one rider canceled twice within 3 secs), I had to ask on phone before proceeding to pick up grin

Was there traffic congestion on Maryland road for you to take that long route?
You were lucky to meet a novice rider, else he would have changed it for you.

Abeg we all know the outcome but let the sleeping/snoring dog lie.

Danfo is more profitable if it's driven by the owner, but u ll get the money in a very hard way. Giving your vehicle out on rental is better on Uber than public transport ( danfo) on daily delivery.
Brother , I won't deceive u. You ll go thru Hell while waiting to collect money for deliver in danfo biznesks.
My advice, do not do it if u can't drive it yourself
wise man, you don grow white bear bear for the business. Experience too much, e dey throway sef.

Brother, "once bitten twice shy". I don enter d one chance before. I learnt in a very hard way.
That was how I was deceived with daily figures too.
And the reason why I couldn't answer the guy Yes or No, because the question is beyond Yes or No

On a normal day lekki to mm1 should be around 1800 to 2000 naira with surge it will be around 2300 naira I think ur phone has inflated the price unknowingly

I have done lekki one to airport for 4k. Without surge . It can never be 2k. 1004 to mm1 on taxify is 4500

My only advice: Read this thread from page 1 to the end

Yes, some will tell you page 1 till 500 doesnt matter. They are right. But I just want you to have an idea where the trail of this business was coming from, and where it is presently

Please and please, no advice will be perfect than that of reading this thread

Bros, that's untrue, u will only not be paired with same rider if rider is requesting you again after you have ended trip but subsequently riders request will pick you. Situations where you will not be able to be paired with same rider again in the event of a misunderstanding is if you the driver or the rider makes a formal complain to Uber through writing.

Ok

It depend on whatever certificate she is using to work there and the condition of the work. Maybe she is contract staff through in-sourcing. They hardly promote there staff generally in banking sector. But like someone said, its all about fulfilment not only money.
I will also advise her to start with weekends to see if she can possibly cope

Not too sure o! That phone chipset no be snapdragon or meditek something. That phone dey use a different chipset
It mustn't be snapdragon or mediatek. A sound chipset is a sound chipset. You didn't notice that the chipset offers 12nm waves and over 2ghz processor speed

That's the only route i know the that leads to the Airport.
The shorter route takes you through
(anthony - Maryland - ikeja - airport) for domestic airports.
The route you took added about 2km to the trip plus N200 toll making it about N350 extra.

What could be the cause?

What is the solution?
What phone do you use for the biz?

lol but just try dey assist people with there load bro, me have driven for one day and my second customer rider filled my car boot and back seat with items for his new apartment for a 2km trip, I didn't complain he was surprised and asked why i remained calm, I just smile he brought out instant 2k nd keep on my dash and still paid for his trip wen we got to his destination.
My point is it pays to look or treat things in a good/easy prospective.
Make it easy for people or try ease to people's stress even if u ain't getting paid for it, only act when they try to cheat or swindle you
You're right, boss. The only way to gain happiness in your biz is by showing customers kindness. Some of these riders are angels. But the way we treat them can bring out the devil. It's a give and take thing.
