Internet don't forget. When the threat to move funds came up. I never supported it. I am only saying I support them now and expect all thinking persons to do same now that Supreme Court has taken their stance making GTB fraudulent as they are. In sane clime, me and you would pull out our funds and not only igbos.integrity is sacred and should never be toiled with especially close to financial issues. Fortunately, no igbo person is in the discuss yet you are still attacking them, I am ibibio, a very proud ibibio man at that. Am not and will not be tribal but stating the obvious. GTB is fraud according to Supreme Court, argue with me if you have another judgement exonerating them. Don't care who owns it or which tribes are it's customers, they are simply fraudulent and so it remains. 9 Likes |

Barrytone:Some of the banks in Nigeria are fraudulent if not all the banks. I don't have ATM card on my Zenith Bank account but they charge me MASTER monthly fee. I don't even know what it means sef. I am sure they are charging thousands of account holders. 5 Likes |

Agbaletu: Let's celebrate this one caught red-handed. You can sue whoever has wronged you and not resort to Nigerians way of press trial like GTB tried playing with innoson. They even slapped his wife, I guess it's time to sue for damages for that slap. If aggrieved, go to court, you can be the next big thing 3 Likes |

I have said it and I will repeat it again. The end of GTBANK has started and the management is not noticing. When I opened my account with them 2002, they were just wonderful but over the years as they began to break records and emerge the biggest and best bank and importantly began to hire so kind of staff. Initially, I thought those bank staff of their were ex first bank, and UBA but I found out they were core GTBank. The first bank and Union bank syndrome has caught up with GTBank. The we cannot fail syndrome. It is particularly sad that a bank would steal from customer. GTBank has been stealing from me with their SMS charges. I did a report and complained to my account officer. The poor guy didn't know how much the bank charges per SMS. Whatever was their charge by SMS I was still been stolen from by GTbank. I used to speak highly of GTBank until I opened account with Stanbic bank. It had to be so when my account officer was frustrating my TB plans. And the bank is not apologetic. They thought because Innoson was not schooled they could cheat him. Them no know say omo Ibo get sense no matter his/her level of education. 5 Likes |

Barrytone: The problem is GT banks side is quite logical and self explanatory. I won't post it here so as not to make people say things like they were right etc. That is why I said before we attack any party let's see how it plays out. If you noticed I never labelled Innoson, neither have I said Gt bank is innocent. All I am saying is we can't label accusations on people's business without full information. It is unfair if the accusation was not warranted. Innoson said this, GT bank is saying that, who should we believe? The social media stories are not saying many things. Hence why we have to be careful so as not to create slander or defamation. 1 Like |

Tabuse20: Hence the problem. Was any fraudulent act actually committed? By GT's account, there wasn't. We should all hold banks accountable, but when people begin to bring in all forms of sentiments and discrimination, all I smell is smear campaign and BS! That is what I am questioning. Why the tribal inference? Let us see how this will play out. If GT bank will pay Innoson, we will here if they don't, we will still be here. 2 Likes |

Barrytone: Do you also support the Igbo employees of GT bank to leave too? Since we are using the tribal card. If you want customers of a certain tribe to leave, then by all means employees and shareholders should leave also. If a bank is fraudulent, by all means we will pull out our funds. I am telling you right now you made a mistake with your statement earlier. If you had said we would move our funds, we as Nigerians as people who want to protect their money, fine, but you mentioned just 1 tribe, hence I was correcting you on that. I will be addressing someone else soon, but it's your fault. Your statement made him come out to say what he is saying. 4 Likes |

On the tribe stuff, I withdraw my support for a tribe to pull out of an establishment but insist Nigerians should pull away from such fraudulent establishments to serve as a deterrent to others. Don't expect anything else after Supreme Court verdict unless on another case. For now they will pay up or loose the Bank. 1 Like |

It is so sad that it is only in Nigeria that justice is served this way. Stealing is stealing. It has no other name. Why should GTBank only refund monies purportedly stolen. It CEO should be committed to jail along with other officials involved in the fraud. Our justice system is evil. A poor man steals N8,000 cellphone, he/she is beaten black and blue and within a matter of days his/her is finalized in court and straight to jail. EFCC is also no helping matters. These stealing politicians use these bank to loot our commonwealth and at the end of the day when the politician or fraudster is jailed, the banks that aided the transaction knowing fully well that the funds are laundered is not fined. No official of the bank is sent to jail or sanctioned. The banks are a big problem to us in this country! 1 Like |

He didn't say only the Igbos should move their money rather he did say that the Igbos were right after all and he's encouraging every other persons to do the same if they can. Are you actually stating that someone who wanted to move his money from gtb after realizing that they have been stealing his money shouldn't simply because his tribesmen work there?? And about saying we should wait till next week to get the right info, which other info could be greater than supreme court judgement... Are you trying to state that it's very possible for supreme court to upturn the judgement again by next week, declare gtb non-fraudulent and ask Innoson to rather pay gtb instead of the current judgement ??. Even if this is going to be possible,as a wise investor who's into tbills abd prolly a gtb customer, won't it be better to make your decisions based on the current S/C judgement. Are you still waiting for the right information before making your decisions when the right information is very glaring -which is the S/C judgement. GonFreecss1: 4 Likes |

A lot of Igbos are actually multibillionaires, however most of them don't really cherish this kind of attention Forbes tend to give. A lot of them would rather chose to be "undercover billionaires" and they have their reasons. So on the issue of huge capitals being held by the Northerners and S/Westerners is a huge lie. However, even a dunce can become a multi-billionaire if given the kind of opportunity and preference that Dangote has. It doesn't taken much for a govt to make you a billionaire if they chose to,what is really difficult is creating a niche for yourself and becoming a billionaire despite the fact that the govt is against you. Check out the story of Ibeto Cement and how the govt frustrated him just to give your Dangote a monopoly. If your Dangote should venture into Vehicle manufacturing tomorrow,i'm very sure the FG will also replicate same thing they did with Ibeto just to give same Dangote that monopoly. I only wish the FG can give equal playing ground to everyone in this country...trust me if this happens,Dangote will fall. ahiboilandgas: 9 Likes |

ahiboilandgas: As much as i respect u here, I must say u have made a fallacious statement by saying the north and west have all or most of the money in Nigeria. I expected u to quell tension not fuel it. Igbos are the most industrious race in Nigeria and are spread in every part of the country even in sambisa. Respect that. Am not here to argue for or against any tribe but to appeal to u and @gonfrancess to focus on our premise. Which is investments not tribal sentiment. zamirikpo:u be my man online ,i was trying to reset one chap that turn customer and bank relationship to gt vs ibo feud ...when I say north and west holds the main cash irrespective of how they earn the money ....example Anambra might hold the largest middle income group in Nigeria per population, but Ibrahim babagida might we worth.12 bn dollar and his fellow northerner abacha might have cornered 5 bn dollars and their friend obansanjo might also hold same their mutual friend ty danjuma hold around 3 bn while alakija 2 bn ,the greatest industrialist in Africa aliko dangote hold around 20 bn while adenuga might hold 12 bn dollars ....nb am not in support of looting as a mean to wealth am just trying to tell the guy that the main money it within this group other from South South like don etibet....this is main cash 3 Likes |

I think the main money man in the east is athur eze? In billion of dollars but this can't be compared to number of companies controlled through shares by the Yorubas on the Nigeria stock exchange..i don't know if am making sense ....example 50000 ibo traders hard working with capital of 10m each that amount to 500 bn naira around 1.4 bn dollars but folashade alakija is worst 2.5 bn dollars that over 900 bn naira ....meaning over 90000 traders with 10 m capital will be equal to her (MAIN CASH)if she treaten to leave gtb they will be scared 1 Like |

But a good country will prefer 90000 ibo traders with ten million each paying tax than one alakija with 900 bn then Ever body is broke as happen in the west and north.... (more in the north) 4 Likes |

kisszhira: So if an hausa man has issues we don't have confirmation about with a bank, it makes sense to say hausas are right to want to leave the bank? You keep shouting Supreme Justice, I am telling you nothing has been ruled. Keep reading blogs to get your info. 8 billion naira is not enough to shake GT bank. It's as if many of you here have already judged them to be wrong. I don't run anything with them, infact it's in my best interest if they drop in share price, I will buy it cheap. But one sided bias will not help anyone here. 2 Likes |

zamirikpo: Except you decided not to see what is on ground. I have tried to be neutral on this case as I have called out people attacking with no basis other than social media and blogs. So where I brought in problems in this thread, I really want to know. It wasn't me that started tribal bias nor did I encourage or support it, I do not appreciate you putting my name with tribal sentiment in the same sentence. There are people here who run Tbills with GT bank, many people here actually do. So coming to tell people the institution they put their money in is fraudulent when we don't have all the facts is unfair to the businesses involved and the people with money in said banks. Nobody wants panic! 1 Like |

This Gtb vs Innoson case is like our own is our own. A Goat owned by many, dies of starvation. Let's focus on this thread which is for T.bills and remove all other distractions. If you want to side for Gtb or innoson, you can head to politics section or some other threads on business section. My one kobo. 2 Likes |
