Please, Is it advisable to leave my job experience blank? Because my experience is far different from what I studied and what I am applying for again.
I don't have any experience related to my educational background.

If you are preparing your CV for Visa interview, please don't leave out your work experience. Although, I am not sure if it counts but what I know is that it tells the VO or anyone processing your application that you haven't been idle. Talking from personal experience as I was also in your same situation.

Thanks. I may just have to put it even though it won't count for the admission.

Am assuming u mean another bachelor's degree
Well age has no effect on your admission/VISA applications so far you have a strong and valid reason why u want the new degree
Write a good motivation letter(if requested by the school) during your applications and give them a good reason why u want another bsc degree in that field..if u have work experience in the new field its a plus. Also include your reason for another bachelor's degree in that particular field on your motivation letter for VISA and when asked by the Visa officer give him/her a strong and valid reason...BTW I thought automobile is a sub branch of mechanicals..wouldn't your mechanical degree give you more opportunities than an automobile degree..am a Economics student tho so I might b wrong

I paid 26k to send my credentials to uni-assist via DHL from Warri.

I haven't encountered such error. Contact uni-assist to rectify the anomaly.

Kaysnotch:
Thanks for the info i really appreciate. 2 more questions

1) I updated my account on Uni-assist, I kept on having this error "'You have changed profile data that requires a review.
You can not process an application until the review is completed'"
have you experience such errors before?

2) How much those it cost to send your credentials via uni-assist

Type online PDF converter on Google, click on selected links, then select the file and it gets converted, you can now download the converted file to your laptop.

Follow the above procedure if the person that scanned your documents didn't convert them to PDF. You can also use the above procedure in merging documents online.

Happy Sunday to you to, For you to study a master course you’d have to have a bsc in the relating field., You’d have to search for the course you’d want to study through daa.de and then read the requirements, if your bsc fits in the requirement then you are good to go. Then gather up other documents you’d need for application such as waec certificate, motivation letter, Cv and co. You’d see the requirement on the course website. Most German schools ask for 2.5 and above but you’d still be able to find a school that would take you, just don’t use uni-assist while applying to the schools and it’s not too late to apply although some schools have already reached admission deadline same way some are yet to start and some are still ongoing. Best of luck arro.
Edit: yes a lot of schools take proficiency letter in place of IELTS

This was helpful.

Regarding the emboldened:

From my research so far, in Supply Chain Management M.Sc courses, i noticed that most German schools/courses have little or no regard for cognate work experience.

Dont they realize that the experience one gets on the field supersedes whatever theoretical knowledge taught in school?

I am in a similar fix right now. Most of the schools are demanding for evidences of studies in logistics, economics, business, etc, in my undergraduate days. But i studied Microbiology. No correlation at all! But then, i doubt there is any relevant concept in the supply chain field that i am not empirically conversant with.

All in all, i am still gonna take my chances

For that course they accept English language proficiency letter. But for certification of documents you need to do that at the German Embassy or a public institution that has a recognised " iron seal".

I mailed the coordinator, she asked the country I was from, I told her, she said they have made bad experiences and recommended the above( that's the certification process).

The coordinator recommended embassy certification or certification by a public institution whose seal is recognized... More like certification with an "iron seal".

It is advisable you fill forms with computer so will be clear. Then you "print " and "sign".

But do you have any Msc course you’d like to do that is closely related to your microbiology? I’d advice you to also look at this as a backup plan

I awaits your response.

Let me start by saying its better to try and not get in than not trying at all. Even though I might come across to you as being too optimistic, but life is all about taking risks. My dad will always tell me you don't because of the fear of being killed won't go to war against your enemies.

Now back to your situation, first and foremost I want to believe you did some courses in automobiles during your undergraduate studies as it is with most schools, unless it's not so with yours, then we need to query your school's curriculum. This is a plus for you if you did.

Take some time to look out for schools, but not all the whole time cos applications have already commenced in some programs. Look out for Bsc and Msc programs. Write down each program's application requirements so that you don't mix things up.

You need to write a powerful letter of motivation and a very good resume detailing your experience and lots more. You are practically selling yourself to your interviewers (the admission panel) so please I beg you don't joke with. Let it reflect you, your exposures, experience in the field, your vision, the innovations you are willing to bring in (future plans) and moreover tell them why are you interested in their program, why do you think their program is suitable for your career aspirations. You are telling them why you should be given an opportunity irrespective of any fact, cos you don't know who is reading your application.

Above all these, make a bold declaration and speak words to those applications, there is power in spoken words. Pray fervently. God still answers prayers and He is a God of nevertheless. May lines fall in pleasant places for you.

When you get victorious, don't hesitate to testify of God's goodness. I wish above all things that you prosper. All the very best.

Hello family,

Thank God it ended in praise as I have received my approval mail.
I have already testified in thread 96 I guess

Please my interview date is on May 3rd. I will like to get further information on how to proceed. With regards to arranging my documents on the checklist. Tiny details like the background for passport. Any need to get my letter of employment from places I have worked? Is there a particular format for the CV and motivation letter. If the motivation letter is handwritten must it be written by you (if you have not so wonderful handwriting). Thanks.

Make sure you have 3 copies of all documents listed on the checklist, original and 2 photocopies. All documents on the checklist should be enough for the interview any other document is fair to support your mission but not compulsory.

Hello Everyone,

This may be redundant but I have a friend trying to apply for visa interview slot for winter semester 2019/2020.
Does she send a mail or use the booking system (which has no slot presently)?

Thanks in advance

Thank you so much

Adhheir:

Don't apply, it's a requirement for admission, the course might be partly or totally taught in German. Its either you have the certificate (proving your level of German proficiency) or you do not, if you don't then you haven't met the requirements and your application will fail.

Look for courses that you meet their requirements and apply to them.

Good luck
