I really don't know why they are hiding the acquisition and trying to pass it of as a merger, even the RC number being posted at most diamond bank branches since last is that of access bank

1. Standard Trust acquired UBA after Belo Osagie ruined UBA.

2. Union Bank was nearly run aground with Barth Ebong and Co.

3. First Bank was seriously affected by its massive over-exposures to oil and gas deals when its debtors with debts in dozens of billions of Naira couldn't pay back.

4. GTB's corporate governance is madt and is presently Nigeria's most profitable company.

5. I'll put my money in Zenith over UBA and Union.

Look at Diamond Bank, the founder gave the bank to an incompetent, unproductive, randy fellow to run just because he's his son. That one specialised in sleeping with married women in the bank.

Go and check the debtors list of Diamond Bank. You'll see that the present and previous management gave loans based on "my brother, my brother". Now, the bank is dead.

Don't worry, you'll soon hear them selling their assets to pay Access bank in the coming days. Access would collect every kobo from these titled debtors.

Run businesses like okrika shops at Idumota, why would they last? Put competent people in charge, mba. It is Okafor and Sons. Not minding if the son is a corporate cancer like Uzoma Dozie.

Whenever you abandon ship, it's best you close that account. Same thing happened to me with Ecobank. Very useless Bank. If it's not Zenith, GTB, Stanbic IBTC, I'm not interested. I'm really sorry for Diamond Bank customers with this development, Access Bank will show them pepper

As far as am concerned there are only 3 Nigerian banks with pure class and they are GT Bank, Diamond and Zenith.

But it's a shame Diamond couldn't sustain that solid brand. What a shame.

Access is a desperate concern and a slave coven, i don't like it for anything.

Anything access bank, I no dey near am,was once a victim of their mismanagement before zenith saved me.

Access Diamond would hv being more creative.

I lost interest & close my cooperate account with Diamond bank close to 2years now. i lost confident in them due to failure to fulfill promise.

I was advice to open by my Igbo close friend, after i fulfilled my part, different stories came up. My friend was highly disappointed. i told him we have different head & destiny maybe its not written to favour me. I end up saying, that bank will be disappointed the way they disappointed me.

In business you accommodate all tribes not your people only. i noticed it from my colleague we went to same secondary school working in the bank, he denied all measures to make my application work.
