you look wetin you wan look, make others look wetin dem wan look.

Different things make people watch football, different things make people support football teams. Some people watch for skills, so, they prefer the likes of Messi, some watch for goals, so, they prefer the likes of CR7, some watch for the commentary, so, they love Tim Beglin and Jon Champion, some, just enjoy the atmosphere in a stadium.

I personally watch for all of those things AND more. Everything is part of the package. I don't care for looks with club football, but when National teams are in play, and I go to Twitter and read women from SA, Namibia, even the USA, talk about how fine the Nigerian team is, my dear, e dey burst my brain. E dey make my head swell, because boys dey represent.

Football did not get billions of fans because of wetin dey brain. You think say na wetin dey brain na im make EPL beat La Liga for viewers? EPL players get skills pass La Liga guys? You don't know aesthetic is part of the allure? When you watch an EPL game and you watch a La Liga game, you will appreciate packaging and realize that football is about a lot of things and it is not skills that is pulling in the big bucks.

If their football is not sexy, well, they better be looking fine as hell grin

Apparently, Delta force (or rather Delta state govt) has bought Kada city FC and renamed the club to Delta force.. seems like they replaced the entire team too..

Anyway, Delta force will make use of the Asaba stadium for their games... that's some good news IMO as the stadium would be regularly maintained...

even if Etebo and Lokosa join, they still cannot put a dent to the number of fine boys.

There will always be a few people in a team spoiling group picture grin. Nefore, the entire team na zero, but at least now, for every one facially challenged player, there are five making up for it. This is the progress I speak of, so plus Etebo and Lokosa (even if he isn't on the team, and I personally don't think he's even ugly to begin with), the baby boy swag remains intact

What of this ma guy? grin

No this is a different case. There are people here that are ready to raise other African countries to high heavens and underrate Nigeria. See how they painted Cameroon ahead of the WCQ grin grin. O boy nothing wey we no hear for here.

For instance also the way Nigerians that have visited Ghana painted the country you will think it is another England grin. Lo and behold on my first visit there I found out that Accra is not much different from some of our state capitals. If you listen to some people you will think Nigeria is the worst place on Earth. We have this terrible habit of not appreciating our own.

You are partly wrong.

Reason is only the citizens of a country (Nigeria) understand our problems better. We wear the shoe, thus we know where it is biting us. Since we feel the pain more, it is expected that we will fiercely critic our own when things are not properly done

thanks egbon I was so surprised when I saw some peeps here shivering after the AFCON seeding. ...
I can beat my chest any day anytime there is no team in Africa that is not beatable by the Super Eagles. ...

sometimes I laugh when I see some peeps hype these francophone countries and belittle nigeria...
same francophone countries..... that I know too well.
I have absolute faith in the Super Eagles. .... and the players can do wonders if they humble themselves enough.

Very correct.

I am actually not worried by any African country.

However, I think its time we go global.

That's why I want us to win the AFCON. So that we can compete in the CONFED cup and test our ability against more quality opponents

In football, na wetin dey your brain matter pass you fine face.

Bia, I hope what's giving you guys this confidence isn't this meaningless friendly game against Egypt?

Please let's not get carried away. Right now, I would still rate the likes of Morocco, Senegal, and even Egypt ahead of us. I think the AFCON will expose us.

None of those players are leaving Milan

A team that is rebuilding and they might be back on the champions league

Only Patrick Cutrone might leave due to lack of game time

Piatek paqueta are both going no where

If wishes were horses, beggars would ride.

I agree with you on the opinion that the AFCON would expose us. My "wanting us yo win" wouldn't make us win. Rather, hardworking, good tactics, excellent man-management and the right player selection with luck on our aide should increase our chances of success.

It will be sad if we don't win or at least reach the semis because this team has received unprecedented support compared to the other teams (historically).
