What happened to warri port? How about akwa ibom port? This greedy ppl can make those work but no, all cargos must land at Lagos.

They should enjoy their traffic abeg

Traffic is good.

Where ever you see traffic, you'll see an ipob yoot selling gala. It's a constant factor.

Without traffic, the economy of some states would crumble and some people would starve.

Even though it's cheaper to direct traffic to the ports in the south south but NO. The people of the SS and SE must perpetually be suppressed but God will hear their cry one day.
even GEJ refused to hear their cry, nonsense. They should give SS port so they can kidnap everyone they see on sea everyday, no be so?

If you want developement, stop your excessive crime and embrace peace.

nice development.

but the most vital measure to end Apapa gridlock, is the get port of the Eastern part working. from Onitsha to Warri, port Harcourt, uyo. calabar. that should be the FG priority to decongest the western port of Lagos unfortunatly serving the Nation. SA, USA, Kenya, uk, mexico, Ghana, has multiple ports, one port can't be enough for a Country, not one as large as Nigeria with huge population.

its time we think progressively to push and attain Nigeria of our dream

What is greedy West?

When they wanted to build the rail line to reach Calabar passing through the SE, didn't Igbo Senators shoot it down so that they can fight Amaechi and GEJ?

The SE has been supporting Saraki. Tell me a single thing the SE got from Saraki's Senate.

The consequences of the politics played by the SE isn't yet clear now. 20 years from now, your children would curse you for mortgaging their futures just to fight, insult, abuse and oppose those indifferent about you.
this is why this country will never soar. U re attacking him now cos he said the truth and u re from the said beneficial zone. Irrespective of who is president or senate president is Nigeria not one? Ate they not supposed to develop all?

Nobody is supressing anybody. Maybe security is the problem with those areas. No large scale importer/company/investor would want his cargo moved to an area dominated and controlled by powerful militants that can decide to hold the port under attack if their demands are not met, their never-ending demands. Same way people would prefer to invest in America than to invest in North Korea. Nobody wants to do business in a hostile environment that is plagued with numerous uncertainty.
but they can invest to take the oil. Is it not the oppression and suppression that gave rise to militants. So I guess the militants he been there since independence.

It need a willing government that will like to develop the entire Nigeria
like South Africa is doing in their country. They may like to do it but FG will block it through greedy west.

South Africa have six standard ports, if you live in Capetown you don't need to go all the way to Durban to clear your goods. If Nigeria is serious country that want to provide job to the youth, somebody that live in Aba dont need to go to lagos to clear his goods where there is Calabar, PH or Onitsha that is nearby. The same with someone in Kano and other part of the north, you clear your goods in Kaduna port.

Who told you that there is only one port in Nigeria?

There are 6 ports in Nigeria and they all generate Revenue for the Government but Lagos Port just happen to be the most Effective and Cheapest. The question is why are your people in Government not also fighting for an effective and better ports?

He's saying the truth you say? What is the meaning of greedy west? GEJ was at least a SSner and the west was clearly sidelined in his government so why did he consider his own people being someone that knows his own region problems. Decieve yourself not, there will never be any major FG intervention in the SS unless they change their ways.

FG can't handle the embarrasment they'd caused the country.

Develop the ones in Eastern Nigeria,No...
I blame our people who keep mute while all these things are happening.
We are always neglected in the scheme of things but the most painful is that we have surrendered and therefore we aid our aggressors in neglecting ourselves. It is really painful to be an Eastern Nigerian where you are not wanted but needed.

He talked of greedy West and you're attacking me for curing his madness. Do you know what you're talking about at all? Were your fathers in coma when the Western Region was being developed by the Western Regional government?

Mention a single thing the Eastern regional government did for Igbos.

You elect idiots to lead you and now blame others for your misfortune.

When a region perpetually plays politics of hate, sabotages efforts to develop and constantly tells you to your face that you're not wanted, why should you bother yourself?

You want a project in a place where the youths can rise up tomorrow to destroy things and kidnap workers in the name of Ipob protests.

They would develop all one after the other. I just hope they have sense to play commonsense politics before it reaches their turn.

Are the militants not guarding the oil, and collecting their own share? Let them not give them their share and then see how quickly they will shut down the production to a stand still. Is that not what nearly collapsed the economy and weakened the value of the naira when Buhari initially stopped paying them, thinking he could handle them with the military. But he soon found out that they are the real power brokers of those places, that you cannot mess with and go scot-free. And after crippling the production, Buhari had to quickly make peace and put them back on government payroll so as to save the economy that survives on Niger-Delta oil. This is the same reason Dangote didn't build his refinery in the Niger-Delta. Otherwise it would have been better for him to build it there, but he didn't want to put his billion dollar investment at the mercy of militants.

How can Ibadan dry port solve congestion in Lagos? Is there any Ojuju preventing Nigeria from expanding One, Port-Harcourt and Calabar?

OK security reason noted. what about cities like calabar or ibaka in akwaibom state, Onitsha, do we have militancy problems there?

look the government knows what to do, they ain't getting things right. when they provide adequate security all this vices will be put to an end. they should beta act Now else from now till 2050 they would see the second phace of Apapa gridlock/congestion
