Please I have never heard a woman being called an apostle. But women are called prophetess, pastor, evangelist.

Is their a limitation to a woman being an apostle?

read the below verse....

1 Timothy 2:11-14
Let a woman learn in silence with all submission. And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression.

I know the office of prophet and that of an Evangelist are open to women buy I seriously doubt that of the pastoral, bishopric or even the Apostolic office is open to them. Those offices require that instruct and etc

any version of the bible you will read says exactly that (in different phrasing):

11 A woman[a] should learn in quietness and full submission. 12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man;[b] she must be quiet. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner.

11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

11 Let a woman learn with a quiet spirit, and submissively. 12 Moreover, in the area of teaching, I am not allowing a woman to instigate conflict toward a man. Greek Bible says so. you can check google and download a Greek bible to understand the text better.... the old testament was written in Hebrew but the new testament was in Greek.
