Please guys.. I did the test online yesterday afternoon..and till now I have not received any email from uber. Should I be worried? What steps should I take. Also my drivers license is taking forever to be approved on the App.

Please someone should assist me.
Step-by-step, brother man. We are talking about yesterday; just yesterday

Like I said, those promos help you to achieve your target more easily. Some days, I set a target for myself. And a few hours to achieving it, a bonus pops up and completes it. I just smile, get wifey oyoyoo, and head back home; tomorrow is another day. If you are having issues with your Taxify app, it's not same with others. As I type, I'm roughly two trips from grossing my weekdays 21k target. Are you saying I can't achieve it?
When people complain of Taxify, it sounds like they are in a different world to mine. But after a deep thought, I found out that with Taxify, you need a good device and perfect positioning skills

Uber is too greedy they just don't want to give up on that 25% commission they get from drivers despite the fact that they are loosing the market, they even want to reduce drivers population on their platform, any wrong doing will result to deactivation of account. In addition, no more boost again 1.1x and 1.2x has been cancelled.

Taxiappguy, sincerely I don't know who you're in real life, but I think you should hold these guys by the balls

Some lawyers are willing to carry your case like gala if you guys can agree on a cut, of which they will fight vehemently for you in court

Please don't listen to them anymore. Despite the low fares, they will still want to defraud you in a transparent process

Please take them to court if you can, please

Hello everyone,
So anybody that knows me knows how active I am with ride share issues.
I have closely followed and participated in all ride share sectors.
I have driven on the platform, I have managed vehicles on the platform and I have used it as a rider.
I have written a book about Uber and blog about the company constantly. It's safe to say that I have been closely involved with Uber since they came to Nigeria.

I have been referring people to the Uber referral program since 2016.
The referral program is for partners who refer other partners and when the people referred get to 50 trips with their cars, Uber pays the referrer 10,000.
I have referred more than 50 people to the program and at least 10 have gone on to become successful referrals.
So imagine my surprise when it turns out it seems they are trying to scam me by claiming I am trying to scam them, simply because they don't want to pony up my money.
I went to their office to ask why my referral earnings have not been paid and they claim I have been blocked since April 2018. Which is a blatant lie as I have referred and received referral earnings even this year.
They claim that my referrals get to 50 trips (which is the requirement) but never get to hundred trips, the lady said because of this I must be fraudulent because "why don't my referrals get to 100 trips". I reminded her that the threshold is 50.
I'm writing this to let everyone know that is seems Uber is engaging in fraudulent activities by withholding my funds while claiming I am fraudulent.
I am writing this to let everyone know not to participate in the Uber partner referral program because they will find an arbitrary reason not to pay you eventually.
Cheers,
Taxi App Guy.

Sorry about your predicament, study the T&C,you have the right to sue them, but then, I'm likewise concerned about why your referrals don't get to 100, immediately after dey get 50,and you got your bonus, it stopped, and a new referral from you start to progress only to get to 50+ and it stopped again. I give it to Uber for diligent on their part. This makes it surspecious. If you know your hand is not clean, just sit down jejely, I know you're smart, Uber got the data and tools with them, if you're clean, you got my support.

While I would like to collect only what is due to me, I haven't actually read the terms of agreement for the Uber referral program between Uber and I, so I don't know how far legality will take it. And where exactly I stand.
I would like to explore all amicable means before resorting to legal recourse, if at all I would.
I understand what you are saying and I appreciate it.
But, their balls may be slipperier than a water park ride and hard to get a hold of talk less of holding on to.

Not getting to hundred has nothing to do with this. How about my referrals that don't get to 50? That also has nothing to do with this.
While I understand that Uber may reserve the right to nullify a referral, I don't think they have a right to block me without proving I have done anything wrong. And even if they do, they should have notified me of the blockage, in the event that they didn't notify me they should pay me for work done.
But of course all this one is English, I'm waiting for their response.

Please explore all amicable means, and resort to a legal recourse if it's an option.

I really do not blame them. Everything goes in Nigeria.

I heard some time ago that some guy gamed the referral system for over a million bucks.
At that time they put the referral program on hold.
But I'm not the guy and they should treat each on a case by case basis.
Having said that, all my referrals were gotten legally and above board.

Yes go to Mobil filling station in Ogba make sure u av empty tank, buy ur 2k fuel, u will definitely get an half tank, u can equally purchase from a lady to minimize the possibility of inconsistency, the two managers of that filling station don't sit and relax in their office, they are always monitoring the fuel attendant closely.
You will even find customer complaint number on the pump that is if u still doubt the fuel u av purchased then u can call

This is why I like Uber.
Uber & Taxify both have advantages and disadvantages. Let's choose right based on what works best for us.
