Awesome! You can see the brackets right above and below the door where the gun pods and rocket launchers go. However, isn't this supposed to come with a FLIR camera pod as well or they just weren't installed yet?
I’m also surprised Naf didn’t go for an ISR camera, it’s possible they have a better aftermarket option though.
Cameroon Air Force went for the full package, search light, rescue winch and ISR camera.

goal was to expose what killed ifv off army inventory in a big war with wasted platoon of btr 4 ifv imported with no 30mm ammo yet all ordnance was paid for. all nigerians have right to know how their resources vanish.

no law bans repeating anti-corruption 5 times that's why buhari repeats it 500 times in 1 term. doesn't matter if my comment won't stop corrption today, everyday for thief one day for owner, took south korea 20 years to jail army general hwan, forced him to refund money. you don't talk is not reason to silence all nigerians, a comment irritates you personally does not make it a bad comment, you guys just don't respect other people's human rights.

Guys, ecomog1990 point about NA's thieving generals is something he should be applauded for bringing up. Instead folks here are trying to censor the point.

Gentlemen, their is no thread or discussion point that has been posted on this blog since it's inception that can be de linked from the sadistic treachery that is NA brass since the ecomog wars of Liberia and Sierra Leone.

If you care about Nigeria as a nation and NA as an institution, you have to be losing sleep over the long standing thievery in the NA brass and the MoD.

And PMB can only be willfully ignorant. Same with past leaders.

What price is too much for this folks to exact on nigeria? Tens of thousands of soldiers have been killed in battle due to willful , official negligence.
And proactive thievery. The reputation and the fighting capacity of NA is literally in the toilet.

Any former members of beegeagle blog would remember how I stressed this point.

Anywho, that's my two cents. Nah we all get country.

Nigeria has the richest economy in the modern history of the African continent. We have the world's 9th largest proven oil reserve with 38 billion barrels, valurd at over $3 trillion. Nigeria had the largest foreign reserve until Algeria overtook us 3 years ago.

What this means is that Egypt and South Africa combined do not have the financial muscle of Nigeria. We can build a nuclear program. We can save our foreign reserve and pay for weapons with oil. We have Africa's most valuable national assets.

YET !!

We've been fighting a decade long war with trainer aircraft. Our Navy has no real offensive capability even though %80 of Nigeria's oil production comes from offshore oil platforms. We spent the combined defence budget of Cameroon and Chad combined on 12 Brazilian made turbo prop crop dusters that so not be delivered until 2022. 16 Alpha jets and 5 F-7Ni fighters is what Nigeria has to protect her airspace as well as vital assets of 39 billion barrels in oil. We finally decide to buy 4th generation jets we opt for the JF-17, an unproven weapons system. As if that's not mad enough we are acquiring just THREE with no idea when it will be delivered.

There is something seriously wrong with this country. It's begining to look like a spiritual problem..because it just does not make sense.

naf is growing & needs time, nn is pressing abuja publicly demanding missile frigates & submarines, army is the silent one pretending all is well while we saw chad & cameroon team up their armies vs boko haram long before mjntf, it's warning sign what will happen if nigeria clashes with any of them, our army will be pincer formation encircled by 3 armies till nigeria collapse with na's old & weak weaponry vs our neighbors who think ahead & bought new tank destroyers added to armor piercing infantry missiles. lack of leadership foresight kills a nation, we pay monthly salaries to army officers to do threat assessment for nigeria to plan ahead but eat suya & beer instead grin we all live in danger

No one is trying to silence anybody, I've talked about what he's talking about, most of the frequent contributors here have, na today you dey hear say corruption dey for Nigeria? Or the military. please.
Tell us something we don't already know. Stressing it over and over on here won't change what's going on over there, would it? Nope. That's not how you make a change. You can start by organizing protests, contacting your elected representatives, heck even filing a lawsuit lol, but then again, in Nigeria, that would be a waste of time.
So carry on chief

Seriously, I can't believe you out of all people will say the jf17 as unproven weapons system, would you call the JAS-39 GRIPEN an unprove weapon system because it as little or no combat history
In 2012, 8 JAS 39 were used in Reconn and Combat Air Patrol sorties for missions over Libya as part of Sweden's contribution to a U.N. no fly zone over the country. It never encountered opposition in the sky till date. But it's still a deadly multirole fighter jet in its class.

The JF17 is a new multi role fighter jets which as prospects because it's cheap, easy to maintain and yet deadly amongst its class. No wonder the Egyptian airforce might be going for it sooner.

I understand you chief.

but so many derails done daily on this thread by posters, yet nobody complains. blasting corruption is not trolling, and is not wrong, government pays whistleblowers for exposing corruption. the btr 4 30mm ammo is true case some people should be court-martialed for as crime.

I spoke hot on ifv because nigerian army top brass not fielding hundreds of real ifv is big problem killing thousands of loyal soldiers in all our wars.

that guy was wrong to single out, insult, silence one person in public forum, you too won't accept your rights being attacked, it's wrong way to treat people.

if corruption is not exposed on media where else, in secret under eko bridge? if you bidexiii care more about discussion thread than 200 million nigerians suffering from this blood wasting war we should have won long ago with correct equipment-good training-will to act-overpowering force on the enemy, then you should ask yourself what values you live for, borno photo shoots?

if you tell me to leave corruption topic to help you avoid army top brass harassing you, as a reasonable person I can easily do that for you, just warn trespassing guys to stop telling others they are off topic & stop posting anytime others say what they don't want, ALL OF US OWN THIS COUNTRY BRO, this freedom to speak is part of democracy many nigerians died for on our streets June 12 riots.

for your benefit bidexiii, yes I can decide to not post what can cause you trouble, because you explained your good reason. cheers bro!

NAF TO PROVIDE AIR SUPPORT, REAL TIME IMAGERY, GEOSPATIAL INTELLIGENCE TO POLICE, OTHER SECURITY AGENCIES TO CURB KIDNAPPING, ARMED BANDITRY

As part of inter-agency cooperation to address security challenges in the country, especially the issue of kidnapping and armed banditry along the Abuja-Kaduna Highway and Kaduna-Birnin Gwari axis, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has reiterated its commitment to support the Nigeria Police, Department of State Services (DSS) and other security agencies with real time ‪geospatial and imagery intelligence whilst making available its air assets for the ‬conduct of tactical air support missions and ‪increasing the frequency of air reconnaissance‬ in the affected areas. The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar, disclosed this today, 3 April 2019, while playing host to the Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, and the Director General DSS (DG DSS), Yusuf Bichi, at Headquarters NAF, Abuja. The IGP and DG DSS on arrival at HQ NAF immediately went into a closed door meeting with the CAS before undertaking a guided tour of facilities at the newly established, state-of- the-art Geospatial Intelligence Data Centre (GIDC) and Strategic Air Operations Centre (SAOC). The GIDC, which is equipped with high-tech computer hardware and software, was established to enhance‪ the acquisition, analysis, interpretation and exploitation of imagery and geospatial information to provide actionable intelligence for the Armed Forces and other security agencies, while the equally well-equipped SAOC is expected to greatly enhance the coordination of air operations in support‬ of internal security operations across the Country.

While inspecting the facilities, the Acting IGP expressed delight and satisfaction with the cutting edge technologies and sophisticated computer software at the Centres. He said the essence of the visit to the CAS was to explore possibilities of using NAF air assets and the products of the GIDC to improve the effectiveness of operations to deal with issue of kidnapping and armed banditry, especially along the Kaduna-Abuja Highway and other parts of the country including Kaduna, Zamfara, Katsina, Niger and Kogi States. According to him, as a result of the onslaught by security agencies against the armed bandits in Zamfara State, the criminals had moved towards the Abuja axis to carry out their nefarious activities. “I felt that as a security agency, we need to synergize with other security outfits. We don’t have the air capability but the NAF has them. With this we can have a joint operation to deal with this security issue”, he said. The IGP appreciated the CAS for making NAF air assets available for the operation and also availing the NPF and DSS of the capabilities of the GIDC and SAOC. He also congratulated him for emplacing such facilities and making them available to other security agencies to enhance internal security operations for the benefit of the Nigerian people.
