If it goes lower. I will buy more and watch. It will be nice to use this period to acquire more good stocks instead of averaging down on epileptic stocks.

I actually think you need more than 3 stocks in your portfolio.

In picking stocks, I always think it is necessary to have some that don't easily follow market daily fluctuations.

I can't see any of your mentioned stocks doing a solo performance on the NSE.

Coincidentally I have all the 3 stocks, but the 3 of them put together are about 22% of my portfolio as at today.

Buying both. Dividend yield for next already above 10% if last year's performances are sustained.

More than 10% dividend yield is not very easy to come by these days... Although, anything is possible.

Chief,

You are old enough in this business to know that it's all about a cycle. Luckily enough, you are in stocks with good fundamentals. You really have nothing to worry about. Transcorp at N1 will be an opportunity for you to load more and more. Mind you, Transcorp's drop of yesterday was because of that entity that offloaded all at once, else Transcorp hardly drops like that in a day. FCMB MM might wake up tomorrow and drive things up. Zenith doesn't stay down for so long. I think you are good shaaaa.

Very true...

The bolded is one interesting thing with Transcorp. Funny thing is that the individual that threw that stunt most likely is well loaded in Transcorp waiting to load more.

Gut feeling is telling me that access merger with diamond bank got to do with moves by oil multinationals wanting to exit the country, they want to be in a better position to finance this asset acquisition......

Do you think there will be devaluation?

There is QE in EU area. Fed has stopped rate hike. All developed economies will soon start printing money again. Where the money go go? Fixed income instruments in Nigeria just saw small part of that and yields are dropping.

The whole world will be awashed with liquidity soon. These will be used to bid up prices everywhere in the world and after that comes the bursting of the major bubble.

By then I go dey watch people for TV. grin

Throw more light on this please. This got me thinking too...

All 3 stock you mentioned are strongly bearish on daily chat and moderately bearish on weekly and monthly chat except transcop that is showing weakness in bearish movement. Generally I won't buy if I were you. My opinion though. You are the boss.

ChiBuKing entered UBA and Zenith, and both stocks started dropping fast.

ChiBuKing left CHAMS yesterday and the stock gained 10% today.

I don't believe in coincidence.

ChiBuKing and Sir Peterichy now have something in similar.

If you know, you know!

Chams actually released their dividend info today but I didn't check it. Thats what we are saying - that the stock needs to go up for markdown to take place.
There were over 15M bids at 20k towards market close.

You want me to mention all my stocks

I will only mention one that has performed more than the 3 since the beginning of the year, JB.
Of course this is not the best time to buy JB but there are other good stocks that are at the year low and waiting for investors to pick them

Bingo said the reason it follows a potbelly man is that if he doesn't poo, he will vomit.

People have been warned to invest in stocks that consistently pay dividends. İf e no vomit(share appreciation), e must poo(dividends).

Those who understand are relaxed.
