Uber drivers stop being fraudulent. I request for this driver, he called told him am at omole phase1 gate. He came told him my destination is satellite town, he said he is not going, he left while I was trying to request for another uber was told #400 will be charge and added to my next trip. Some drivers and fraud.

I believe you're one of those riders that would say "just come first " when you ask there destination. Suits you well. The driver deserves the #400 cancellation fee

Hello sir,
The driver never duped you. He got to your pick up, you told him your destination, he wasn't comfortable with it, he zoomed off and cancelled your trip, you were charged cancellation fee of #400 flat. IT IS CANCELLATION FEE.

Once a driver has DRIVEN about 500meters or so towards your pick up, uber will charge you if it is cancelled even if the counter has not counted to 5 minutes

That driver did not start your trip. Don't accuse him wrongly.
Just contest the fee and request for a refund from uber.

I did and it has been cleared

TThis is nonsense.
Why should he call to tell the driver his destination?
Is it a free trip? Won’t he pay for the service?
The rider, not the driver, is king!!

deedee44:

Bros that is not fraud, you can call him unprofessional for asking for /rejecting destination, to avoid this next time tell the driver where you're going immediately you request so he will cancel right away if he's not going

It’s not by force to go to any location
But don’t say the rider should call and tell driver his location, is he begging him?
If drivers are location crazy, they should call the rider immediately and ask for location...

The RIDER is the real king, regardless of the time
I see many drivers make mouth here and i laff
One thing every driver should know is that, the moment you carry a rider, he automatically becomes your employer, it is simple logic, because you are working because of him. So when i see drivers rating riders one star for uber to block them, i just laff. Any business man here will know that you can sack 20 employees in a day and get same number of replacement in the same day, but any organization that will block only 5 customers will take time to replace them.
