He would adapt to it, physicality is not everything in football

Humility017:

but I still fear for the lad physique and stamina when it comes to Africa football...
anyway no hard feelings tho..Samuel Chukwueze cam be dropped to the Under 20

He has against real Madrid, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Roma.

Nah.. Musa has only 3 champions league goals and 3 assists. The only goal against 'big' team was Roma in a match they lost 5:1. His other goals was against lower opposition.

His impact against major teams have been average at best.

it happened with manu garba and his team some years back....
since then I believe every reasonable coach ought to have a plan B... over reliance on some foreign based players and their failure to show up for the team camping early enough partly cost the team so much in that new zealand tourney

I think they should take this MRI earlier not when the coach is done training the kids

I even think they should take the test upon reporting for camp

they have done it before prior the under 17 WAFU tourney.... just that CAF insist on another test prior the under 17 world cup.....
so painful the captain of the team managed to scale through the first only to fail the later....

sure now... the Lateef Omo guy I mean the feyernood kid and the Chelsea lad are obviously 14 years old.
just so painful but I trust him and his backroom staffs to scale through the hurdle

He had over 60players in camp not just those 2 additions.

How does one pass an MRI test and fail another

Are you sure the machines work or do they grow years in weeks?

ohhhh make sense. ...that tells us of a prepared coach...
this man have never slept since he got this job...
he has been working his ass off...
remember how we qualified for this tourney. ...edging out Ghana 4 time world champion...
Manu Garba is an example of a coach that is always on the run.... he has done much for our football

Bro. .. I can't really explain it...abit I am not a scientist
the system is not 100% perfect....
a child not up to 17 can fail the test in some rare cases...it depends on the bone marrow development and lots more

Serves us right, we shouldn't be using foreign based pros for the U-17 and U-20 tournaments. How do we discover (and encourage) home based talents if we start using foreign based pros for every single tournament

It has always happened even in time past. MRI measures extent of bone fusion in young boys. As the boys continue to grow the extent of fusion also progresses. Hence some boys that hadn't attained full fusion during the previous test could have attained full fusion with most recent test.

Haba! Musa has played in the UEFA champions League for a decade against best clubs in top leagues. Please, let us give him that little respect.

However, I don't mind Rohr takes Chukwueze to the AFCON because his stats this season in the la Liga speaks for him but I doubt Rohr will drop players that contributed to the qualifiers for him.

Honestly speaking, he deserves to go to the AFCON.

Is this really you? Things are getting better o. Respect sir.

You saw a resurgent Simon in our last AFCON game right?

That aside, you know how Simon missed the WC despite his immense contributions during the Qualifiers. Sir, team management is important, Simon will make the AFCON.

Yes o

Simon will make the afcon

I even called him a bench warmer at levante ,but he now have a wing back role there

Simon was so instrumental during the World Cup qualifiers ,injury prevented him from the mundial

Samu offers something that simply does not exist in the super eagles right now. Natural left footed attacking players offer something different.

When Onyekuru, Musa and Kalu trouble the Barca defence in a competitive game, we can talk about upgrade. Those players are not obviously better.

Bros please don't be bias about musa

Why you no carry Barca go Russia league when musa dey Cska Moscow ?

Why you no also carry Barca go turkey for onyekuru ?

Biko bros it's 2 early for this

I won't drop let them compete for the spot, that's the reason they go into camping. Whoever is deserved of the spot let him take to AFCON. That he should be dropped because he's young and new holds no merit.
Anthony Martial, Nabil Fekir, Valbuena were all dropped for Mbappe. Show your mettle and let he that wants it more have it.

Valbuena was never dropped for mbappe ,valbuena and benzema was in crisis

If valbuena was not in crisis he will make the World Cup ,get the fact right

Mbappe is a striker and a winger

Mbappe is 200 percent to make the World Cup

If payet was even fit fekir might not make it

Anthony Nwaekeme scores again.

This man has scored 6 goals in the last 5 games for Trabzonspor. I suggest we keep tabs on him heading into the Afcon.

The timing is not what I was on about. Isn't the gist that the club will only release him for one of the tournaments and thereby going to the U20s world cup will mean he misses the other?

Have I missed something?

Having read and reviewed nunerous arguments for and agaibdt Chukwueze's inclusion into the U20 team, I have come to the conclusion that perhaps, youth football is indeed, what he needs at this time in his career.

So, yes, it may be better that he is drafted into the U20 team, as the chances of him joining the AFCON team amd participating in the tournament, is quite bleak, considering the competition ahead of him.

There is nothing wrong with the impact sub.

In Tunisia 94, Amuneke did not play any game except the final where he scored 2 goals.

In Nigeria/Ghana 2000, Aghahowa did not see action until the quarter final where he scored two late goals and saved us from elimination.

If we want to change a game from the bench, Samu offers something different.

Onyekuru is not getting dropped for Samu. They have different profiles. Samu will be competing with Moses Simon and Samuel Kalu for a place.
I'd prefer if Samu played at the Afcon. Let's not act like the gap in quality between Simon, Kalu and Samu is that large (if any sef tbh).
If Samu is playing for the U20, it'll be/should be because Rohr is doing that fraud of a coach called Aigbogun a favor.
