When you login to your Gtb account online, you can monitor your treasury bills. Gtbank lists all the details of your tb investments.

It’s not like I-Invest app. On the Gtb online banking platform, you can only view your tb investments and nothing more. If you want to invest , roll over or terminate you have to talk to your account officer and he or she will carry it out. I have been in tb for many years and I have never visited my banks. I always send emails with an attached pdf file of official letter/instructions to my account officer. I use Gtb and first bank and it’s pretty simple. Now I use Gtb often because my 3 account officers are very reliable.

OK thanks. For the first bank are you able to view it online? Somehow I prefer first bank.

Lolzzz, I can view the fixed deposit in my Acc and the percentage and maturity date....

Tbills is far better as rate is almost times two of banks' fixed deposit and also a safer investment instrument

Pls, when the next auction date coz av wrote later to terminate my fixed deposit in my bank....

You can always buy at any time at the secondary market instead of waiting for primary market options hence losing at last two weeks of interest

She holds savings account with them and I believe it was transferred because the cash was already in her account.

For fixed deposit she gets an investment letter and an investment account is opened for her where the funds is kept and she can view this account or print statement

If tb is not safe I don't think banks would invest billions of naira into it and don't forget some of depositors fund are hugely invested in tb and if it not safe then the whole nation would be in commotion if tb fails.

I think it same percentage....each time I go for 20 m it usually around 21 k charges from gt

There is no difference in charges between sec and pry markets.

I don't think so, First Bank primary market custody fee / safe keeping fee is 0.125.
Custody fee / Safe Keeping fee for First Bank Secondary is 0.1%..
47,000,000 ÷ 100 = 470,000 x 0.1 = 47,000.. Plus the small small change.. So it is almost like that...

Just visit your bank and tell them you want to do tb, am sure they will guide you on what to do

Wow! I'm surprised they would go that low. Most banks put 100k as thier minimum.
