Bros, na tough question you give us ooo. Thing is, with 60k salary, you pay for transport (unless its a walking distance from your house) but with e-hailing, nothing like that. With the salary, income is certain but with e-hailing, na get as they ride. With salary, oga sell, oga no sell, d money go still complete, but e_hailing: let's see how you can tell that to car owner.
The last truth and basically what people might tell you here or elsewhere is that the ball is in your court, do you want to risk losing the job opportunity or you want to venture into e-hailing which you know not about before......choose wisely....
Thanks for your advice Bro.. firstly I will transport myself , secondly Saturday's will be included if not Sunday at times , you know all this private OGA them ..Thirdly having time for myself and family might not be guaranteed.. With E-hailing these may or won't happen , I am hardworking and used to leaving the house before 4:30 am to 5am most times to work , so imagine channelling that effort to E-hailing , How do u see it ? .. I have been following my Ogas here and I must say I don't see anything difficult unless little supervision or location strategies to be effective ... So my Ogas, My main question is can I make that #60k mininmal for myself hustling on E hailing? Thanks

Yes you can but this work is not like a personal drive that doesn't require stress.
But it will be worth it by going into it.

First, which type of car do u want to carry for 27k weekly, if its corolla then u can go ahead or any car it is make sure its in very good state then u will enjoy d work, u will enjoy more freedom no doubt cos u will work as u want but 27k plus fuel of minimum 3k per day x7days = 21k, plus saving 20k for urself weekly and about 7k miscellaneous means you must hit 75k as total weekly target minimum. So there you go, if and only if you can work to that analysis and watch out for family and personal excesses then u can save 80k per month. So how prudent are you cos daily money can be tempting and can spend all what you are surposed to save daily and at the end of the month you will see little or no savings so the ball is in your court.

I believe catalyst doesn't cause excessively consumption of fuel,, once ur 02 sensor detects bad or weak catalyst, it signals d car ECU to supply more fuel,, so if you can fool the 02 sensor, den u are good to go even without a catalyst
So how can I fool the sensor, pls I need to do that quick as possible

If driving for minimum of 10 to 12 hours six days a week doesn't sound stressful to you, then e-hailing is a better option.

You’re totally mistaken man. I’ve taken at least 500 rides and I have successfully contested and won every cancellation fee caused by driver not going my way.

This life is not hard. Driver not going my way, I tell driver to cancel, if he refuses and I’m charged, I contest it immediately.
This happens a lot at the airport. I’d rather take airport cab and pay double than be at the mercy of an Uber driver.

deedee44:

It's like you're a new rider, don't worry just few cancellation fees is all it will take to change your arrogance to humility grin

Lol king lexini, so because you will pay then he HAS to go. You either learn the easy way or the hard way. Your choice

sir,pls what is your experience so far in using civic.how much do you buy d engine and d gear sir can u advice someone to use civic'07 for e-hailling? thank in advance sir

I will not lie to you. I had it rough when I first started using my civic. Infact the car turn me to mechanic. Na me come dey tell mechanic where to go, what to touch and what not to touch until I understand the car.

Many people have hard frustrating experience with 06-2011 civic because 95% of that car in Nigeria have passed through atleast 3 owners and as we all know. Different Kazeem will have kazeemize it.

I played with my old engine and gear. I can tell you it's a strong car that can pass on Ehailing.

If you buying 9ja used civic. Just close eyes and remove everything in the hood with tokunbo to sleep well at night.

The point I’ve been trying to make is that if a driver is particular about going to certain locations, he should call and ask the rider for destination immediately he gets the request, not that the rider should call him and give him his destination - like say the driver is doing the rider a favour.

I case my rest biko

Enough grammar spoken already

Epphy:

Yes I know customer is King. Drivers can be kings when the riders are going to locations people hardly go at night because of different reasons like security, ride requests at the time, bad roads, etc. Riders sometimes decide to change their destinations when they can easily get a driver at nights if they can't get drivers going their way. You can't expect drivers that stay on the Island to take you to Ikorodu from Lekki at 10pm. So they are 'kings' at that moment albeit for a short period.

Your 'king' post didn't indicate this new message. Yes, drivers should call especially when they have destination preferences at night. I like to call my riders always regardless of destination, some riders call while I'm dialing or using the map to find my way to pickups though

Very true
Asking for destinations at night is very important. Even days when I work throughout the night, I must ask you where you are going.

And I wish drivers could choose between card and cash trips at night. I go just choose card jeje

Subsequent post did, after it was clear I was misunderstood...

My ‘king’ post was a response to someone who said rider should have called the driver to state his destination

Slow down,
Use your pointer,
Stay in the middle of the lane to indicate you're turning,
Wait for a nice driver or biker to slow down for you to enter (while gasing forward bit by bit),
Then you're home.
thanks man

I think Uber is confused, they asked someone to collect 6k from a rider and still went ahead to say his trip is 4600, they immediately deducted 1,400 from the person's Uber account.
So who is now being fraudulent here?
