Maths is the progenitor of anything engineering. If you could enjoy products of engineering, know that maths is the subject to respect.

Sometimes, I justify the difficulty of those pure and applied mathematics by thinking that it is as making of great feats and exploits, which if it were easy everyone would do it.

Imagination gave birth to most of those maths. A reason why it is difficult to grasp by folks not given to using imagination. No wonder the beloved enigmatic Eintein said that imagination is more important than knowledge.
