Mcy56:Not at all. I enjoyed their argument and long epistles. If to say people like KOD, Dr Abraham, nosa2, Horalds, Hispy, and Ewumi dey here na minimum of 30 new pages we for dey struggle to read and catch up with every 2hrs on this floating/devaluation of currency matter alone. 1 Like |

GonFreecss1: Very informative write-ups but for me I enjoy these when I am jobless. The pipo that shud be having this kind of debate and enlightenment are busy thinking of how to loot. Don't even tell me that the CBN governor does not know this.. or the minister of finance doesnt... or the senate President doesn't... The only one I can exempt is Oga at the top. The others know all these details. 1 Like |

PharmAlfred:They are actually not members here let alone being newbies. Rather, they are pugilists and gladiators from other sections of NL that have to do with politics and economy. They found their way here through tagging by one of them who discovered this thread accidentally, hence they had a field day on a tangential topic without knowing the real essence of this thread. 1 Like |

In our quest for financial independence, we should not allow NSE to derail us. This useful book is just one of the antedotes for this temporary challenge.. Unexplained bear that is rocking our market.. Download through the link and offer yourself the spirit of I can https://www.pdfdrive.com/your-money-or-your-life-9-steps-to-transforming-your-relationship-with-money-and-achieving-financial-independence-revised-and-updated-for-the-21st-century-e159459889.html A quote from the book “Your Money or Your Life offers everyone—regardless of class, background, or history—a simple and accessible pathway to economic health, recovery, and resilience. Robin offers up this antidote for our corporate culture in a style that is easy to read, pleasurable, and life-affirming, helping us translate the idea of frugality into a shift to invest in what we truly value. Her prescription offers the payoff of a more meaningful and fulfilling life, while lessening our sense of stress as it relates to money. tritritri: I am not talking about the media, I am talking about the figures I just pointed out to you. Why are you ignoring it? You keep posting links on Dangote's refinery that hasn't happened yet. You and I know too much optimism is the enemy of any investor and it's the same in this scenario. |

swilo: Lol. As investors we all have to understand this things as a whole. What many of you fail to understand is that if the price of a stock remains the same in naira after the naira has lost some value to the dollars, indirectly you have lost money too and your buying power has been attacked. Why? We are really import dependent, that is a fact none of us here can argue against. So trust me, the argument of whether we float or not is needed on this thread to make investors informed. 1 Like |

Deadlytruth: Essence or not, that argument is very important especially in the light of recent events. One thing I have learnt in the financial markets is they are all connected. |

DAILY STOCK MARKET GUIDE FOR 11 APRIL 2019 MSCI Nigeria on 10 April was consistent with buying Sterling and selling Access. Today Brent Crude is still above $70, Nigeria will still be on the big money radar. Market bearish reversal still on course. I expect the day to be bullish/range bound. The Pharmaceutical/Agric sectors seem to be giving some signs of weakness as portrayed by the last year end results for most of the companies. This is a warning that we need to buy any stock from that sector with caution. Caution: This is for information purpose only. Data used are assumed to be correct. However, you may want to verify the data from an appropriate source. Also, Institutions can afford to suffer big losses without going burst compared with an individual, you cannot follow them blindly (you need to at least have some knowledge/your own plan).
