What you are being told that you did not comprehend is that Igbos are freeborns! They are already a free people because they can GO ANYWHERE they like and live anywhere they like, do any business they like, just like other Nigerians.

If you decide you want nothing to do with Nigeria TODAY and relocate back to the East, no one would stop you or arrest you (as long as you dont force others who dont want to, to do same). that is freedom of choice...and Igbos have it already.

As for the British example you are referring to:
- Nigerians do not lay claim to being the ones who owned or developed Britain...which is what you igbos claim wrt Nigeria,
- The British came to Nigeria and colonized Nigeria by force. It was not Nigeria that colonised Igbos, it was the British that amalgamated all regions into a single country.
- Nigeria does not share a border with Britain and so there is NO AFFINITY between the two
-- British are Caucasians, Nigerians are Negroid.
- Nothing in-common is shared with the British.

As to the "Utopia" standard, it is simple logic: If you claim you can sew a new cloth for someone, what usually happens is that we examine the cloth you yourself is wearing". You cant be wearing rags and proclaiming you can cloth someone else with Jacquard!
Stop mouthing that you developed other people's cities, when yours is in rags and abandon.

Igbos cant leave Nigeria, all these noise of secession, is just mere blackmail to extort what they dont deserve, from the Nigerian polity.

The first Igbo man to write a book, Olaudah Equiano, did so in London 100 years before Nigeria was created. Igbos will always have the freedom to go anywhere, it's a matter of Visa application

The freedom we are talking about here is the right of over 40 million Igbos to have their own independent country and be self governing. Not to be governed from Abuja.
