All the best to the lads..

I pray they have a good outing.

Fortunate/unfortunate, they are going to square up with lads who are likely older, taller and stronger than them in the tournament..

I will pay more attention to their performance as a team than the over all outcome of the tournament.

And yes that kid can be less than 10. My 5 year old niece is bigger than that boy.

To each his own.

That boy does not look younger than 10 to me.

See mediocrity. Many people are celebrating that the boys actually look 17 and that means there are great things in store for Nigeria. Please make una tell me, who brought the idea of compulsory MRI? There wasn’t demonstrations on the streets of Lagos if memory serves me right. There was never a public outcry. If not for MRI you and I know that we will still be parading papas till today. We lack the will power. U have to force us or else.. biz as usual... owambe.

How they stand.

DR Congo has only won the AFCON once.

There are two Congos: DR Congo (Congo-Kinshasa) and PR Congo (Congo-Brazaville). And they have each won the title once. And that is where I think goal.com got it mixed up.

Oga, based on your definition of "world class" Hazard and Neymer should not be world class. Were they world class when they were at Lille and Santos respectively? Were they operating at the highest level as at then? How many people knew both players then?

Thank you for telling him this

Very good.

Now 5years from now, after seeing these kids today, tell me why you won't defend their ages when those usual "age cheat" detectors come around. Infact, don't be shocked when people start calling them "men" right from this weekend's CAF U17.

The reason why some of us defend those Manu and Amuneke's boys ages is because we saw them just like you are seeing this set now.

EPL teams with their wack defenses. Imagine scoring half of all the goals Aguero has scored in all his seasons in the EPL.

Messi will just be scoring for fun both in reality and in his dreams grin

TheGoodJoe:

Iheanacho should not dear move. Even if Rodgers brings in another striker he favours, Nacho should keep his head down and soak as much knowledge as he can.

At least he should spend a year with Rodgers. It is very hard for players to get this kind of opportunity.

When the chances come for Nacho to play, he will be playing in an offensive system that suits and will bring out his quality.

With all due respect Sir, you aren't making any sense here..
@ bolded u are very wrong... many people condemned the massive age cheating that used to characterise the u-17 ..

On a more serious note why do u like acting like Nigeria is the only place on this planet that sh*t happens?
