For the past 10 seasons la Liga have been humiliating the EPL regularly beating them comfortably the only time the EPL escaped was it 2012 when chelsea played bus parking and got the result rather than the EPL fans knowing their place behind la Liga, we keep hearing the same tales with minor remixes everytime The list of tales La liga teams cannot survive in EPL Messi cannot survive in EPL Messi cannot score against Chelsea Messi cannot score against Cech Barca and madrid cannot make top 2 in EPL Guardiola cannot survive in EPL Yet everyone of this has been proven wrong Now lost at home and they manage to see some form of victory in a home loss where they had no shot on target. This was similar to the same noise made when arsenal beat Barca 2-1 at Emirates, chelsea drew 1-1 last year, arsenal drew 2-2 at Emirates and Spurs beat madrid 3-1. At the end it's always a defeat awaiting them only to come back the next season with another remix of why something from spain cannot survive in England 10 Likes |

EvilMetahuman: You won this season and we aren't giving any useless excuse of how someone cannot survive Twice this season you've lost at home, instead of accepting your boss, you will come up with nonsense like someone cannot survive somewhere |

Debroslink: Stop complicating matters for yourself. Accept that your first comment about away win was wrong because you never added "this week" in that comment. Now you have made that bolded above. If I give you a team in UCL right now with away win, you will again add "this week" to prove yourself right. 3 Likes |

Bloody lucky! Barcelona too good for United even on an off night for Messi & Busquets The Blaugrana enjoyed plenty of possession in their 1-0 win at Old Trafford but created few chances and needed an own goal to win the game It was more by luck than judgement but Barcelona earned a huge 1-0 victory over Manchester United on Wednesday which gives them a fine chance of overcoming their Champions League quarter-final hoodoo. The Catalans won’t think the tie is over, though, far from it, after they were pinned back during an increasingly nervy second half at Old Trafford. In the end, Barca's backline held firm, with their hosts failing to even register a single shot on target. But that said more about United's lack of incision, than the visitors' solidity. i didn't watch the match, but this is what i saw on goal.com this morning. i think it validates ibime's point, but no, barca fans will always tell themselves lies. the worst is that they believe their own lies. it should always be about defending the club you support. what is wrong in a barca fan replying ibime like this? "Yea, you are right. my team was shit yesterday. we didn't play like the team i know. this is not how we have been playing since this season. we have been great so far this season, but yesterday's performance is unacceptable. if we play like this in the return leg, then i am afraid of our chances of qualifying." everything must not lead to an argument. tufiakwa!!!! 4 Likes |

Debroslink:in the first leg?. and besides did not any of those play in 2nd leg either as a starter or substitute.saying tottenham played with their first eleven in both legs is you being intellectually dishonest cause i remember ousmane's goal came by dribbling a youth tottenham player whose name i cant even remember.or are u saying the youth player is a part of tottenham's first eleven?. or better still could you provide the matchday squad for both matches. |

Manchester United fail to punish sloppy Barcelona and Lionel Messi Barcelona held the door ajar, but Manchester United proceeded to hit their head on the frame. An opportunity missed. United did not have a shot on target in their 1-0 defeat against the La Liga side, who effectively stopped playing after banking their first-half away goal. When Lionel Messi booted the ball out of play while trying to find Jordi Alba on 55 minutes, not only was it a rub-your-eyes moment, it also highlighted the possibilities on the table for United. However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men did not possess the maturity or quality in the final third to punish Barcelona's sloppiness. It was Luke Shaw's first-half own goal that handed Barcelona the advantage as United suffered a frustrating 1-0 defeat in their Champions League quarter-final first leg at Old Trafford. from skysports 1 Like |
