First it was Alaba getting snubbed, then Amokachi snubbing Beyreuther despite the latter's impassioned plea to the NFF to consider him, then Sophia Omidiji being snubbed for the women's AFCON despite doing quite well for her club,.... the list is endless.

I am not saying FB's should get automatic shirts, but we must handle this matter veeery delicately and diplomatically. I would advise the coach to make a public statement commending all the rejected foreign born players for thier patriotism and giving some reasons why they were dropped as well as expressing hope that they will maintain thier allegiance to us in the future.

Publicity can make or mar any organization.

All foreign born players coming into the national team should bear it in mind that they won't be treated specially cus they are FB... There are several hundreds of FB out there that can still play for Nigeria abeg... Manu Garba that we know won't have dropped Lateef if he was good enough! Was it not Manu that took a small Abdul Alfa to UAE 2013?

If we go way back in time we have always had Nigerian origin players in the SE, such as John Chidozie. This was however the purist period when performance and passion was the only consideration.

In reality this love of money by any means possible has gone so deep into the national psyche. That l don't think we can solve the problem. Over the years we have become morally bankrupt.

But back to football and l find that the issues of prejudice, dislike and negative bias garnished with unfounded disdainful bigotry and dubious presumptions are placed on Nigerian origin essentially because they were not born in Nigeria.

Many make theses unfounded prejudgments on Nigerian origin players including myself on this forum. Tells of deep seated issues that I still cannot understand. Is it that over the years there are differences in sociological orientation norms and values, l don't know ❓

Not too long ago Sone Aluko had outstanding performances for Nigeria, but was completely frozen out for no apparent reason. I personally know why but it had Nothing to do with football. More to do with the shameless demands of a certain well known very Bullish national NFF coach. I have not mentioned any names Oh !!!

Nigerian origin players born in Europe and playing for teams wish to honour thier country but don't feel they should pay for the privilege. They don't need the SE to further thier careers. As a result they are not inclined to sign with your preferred agent or sign any kind of agreement attached to future earning and or pay you any Honorarium.

The desperate situation we have at home means there are hundred of thousands of players. Who will sign anything and agree to everything to give thier football career a boost. We know about the exposed coach Salisu which for me us the tip of the iceberg. That is a major difference between the two sets of players Nigerian born and Nigerian origin.

Most of the boys in Nigerian academies at the heart of thier dreams and motivation is coming to Europe to play professional football. They will all be connected to the NFF through thier various sponsors. Who look at them as investments.

I am not sure if TPI is outlawed in Nigeria❓ But there are ways around it particularly in Nigeria. These academy owners will know how to circumvente the process and get thier players in. This is Nigeria we know what can happen and what often does.
