A Nigerian Man calls out a taxify driver who drove him from ogba to surulere with a normal amount of #2500 but decide to give him extra #1500 making it #4000. But things went around when he mistakenly send 40k to the taxify man instead of #4k which the man has refused to refund back. Gistvic Reports.

The man said its been 3 days now with nothing be done to the situation.

Stupid irrelevant questions

1st Question: If he decides to be generous what’s your problem with that.

2nd Question: Common sense he got the drivers picture from his profile.

3rd Question: when did you become monitoring spirit or Police asking for the payment screenshot.

All these you questions are meaningless because the driver acknowledged that extra payment made, and he needs to refund the money back.

There is no justification for holding on to money that’s not yours.

Answers to most of these questions are quite glaring.

1. I don't think it's a crime to appreciate someone after having a little business with them. I do it every time. #1,500 may not be as much to the guy as it seems to you.

2. Check the screenshot, the driver's picture is there. So, he obviously took the picture from the driver's DP on WhatsApp.

3. There's no big deal in posting screenshot. By the way, what's the point of this question? You need evidence that he paid extra?
Well, the driver didn't argue when he asked for the #36,000 he mistakenly transferred. I'm sure the driver is not dumb; he would have protested if he didn't get the money.

My opinion: he was unnecessarily generous while the driver acted like a typical greedy Nigerian.

1.Tipping someone that you feel has done well is a standard norm the world over.
I do it sometimes.

2. He probably isn't the one that snapped the picture. I guess that is the driver's WhatsApp profile picture.

3. The evidence he posted are glaring enough to start an investigation and if the driver thinks that he has been defamed unjustly, he can seek redress in the court for defamation of character or libel.

I believe this story because so many Nigerians think keeping such money make them smart.
