The only sensible comment on this thread. Few days ago, there was an uproar over Simi's comment on yahoo/internet fraudsters. I became convinced that 90% of Nigerian youths are involved in internet fraud directly or indirectly with the support of their parents, siblings and significant others. When they are stopped by security forces, they use the media to play on our emotions and plead their innocence without telling us the full story.

God bless you for your comment. police officers has searched me on different occasions but I do not stop them because they are doing their work and beside I have no reason to fear when my hands are clean.

That's kinda true.

Northerners can be very aggressive. I'm not sure these officers will want to risk what will happen afterwards.

Plus, truth is, Northerners don't actually engage in internet fraud. Which is why I can drive around or even walk around with two laptops and a high end phone, pass by police men and SARS officers, and nothing will happen. The suspicion here is almost non existent.

SARS has no right to ask anyone to unlock their phone without a search warrant.

You are part of the problems of this country. You don't solve a crime by committing another crime.

Nigeria government should just cancel and Abolish anything Police.

Security operatives already have profiles of people who are engaged in internet fraud. If you do not fit their profile, you wont be stopped. You guys should stop being sentimental about this. Many of you have friends, siblings, neighbors who are involved in internet fraud but you wont speak out against it. When they get arrested, you start forming voltron and acting like all police men are beasts. If every arrested person is innocent, please who then are the fraudsters?

Especially those in the United States, they have no trust in us at all.
