When you make it in life, do not return to your childhood place or where you grew up almost immediately until the news of your fame or rise have gotten to them and the jealousy must have simmered.

Envy is strong from those who watched you grow and jealousy is ripe amongst old friends. Be discipline to know the hearts of friends can turn and the wickedness of inner circles are far more deadly than an outsider.

Companionship/Acquaintance, maybe, just to while away time and learn what's happening around.

But friendship in the real sense of it is often a ruse. Most people purport to be your 'friend' for very selfish reasons anyway. If it's not to exploit and use you or gain from you in some way, then it is to share their misery with you.

I don't trust anyone except God, the heart of man is very wicked, I rather trust my dog than a human being, I have seen so much in my brief existence on earth to know that only God and God alone should be trusted, and I have also learnt to maintain a low profile anywhere l find myself and to also be very discreet because we have wicked blood thirsty folks on the prowl and they could be your family members, friends, colleagues etc

That's how two guys got jealous due to the fact that their close friend won(bet9ja). Up till date, i never disclose my plans to any friends.

I'm always happy when countless acquaintances, on different occasions, tell me that 'guy I no understand your way o'. That's my favorite compliment.
