Rsim 12 allows you insert the chip along with your local sim card into your device but Rsim 13 looks exactly like your local sim card, it's inserted alone into your device to enable it do the needful, then removed while the device remains "wwu". Just so you know, Rsim 13 doesn't work anymore.

i understand you right but even with the rsim 12 i remove it and place only sim and it stays unlocked.
