Please, my Tiger generator 2.2KVA has an issue with the power switch. I cannot switch off or start the generator with the power switch any longer. Anytime, I want to switch off the generator, I remove the coil from the spark plug or close the fuel tank for it to die by itself. Moreover, if I want to start the generator, regardless of if the switch is ON or OFF it will still start.

Please help....!!

U mean ignition switch or key(engine switch) is either ur switch is bad or there is disconnection from the switch

Morning profs. Please my sumec firman gen is 4yrs old and giving issues. Fuel doesn't last anymore and it drinks oil like a whale.
The generator repairer says the valve is bad, the engine holding the valve is also bad and some other stuff i can't remember. He says we should buy "half engine" of 27k and the generator will be back to normal.
Is it safe to do that, or i should just add money and get another generator?

First the Gen is just 7months old and i started using mobil 1 oil since i bought it only until 2 months ago i switched to one YDP synthetic oil when i couldn't find mobil 1, it worked well for about 2 weeks and then it started shaking and sound fluctuating couldn't carry anything so i called my engineer who checked it and said the oil was making the valve stiff so he cleaned it opened the engine and also cleaned it and asked me to change to normal mobil. It's been working well since then but the problem is the Oil usually gets short due to drying up every 3 days. Funny thing is it's not smoking but Every 3 days i have to top with oil. please what is the problem?

Another person said the amount they want to sell it shows it is fake (on Jumia is 87,500, Konga 90,000 and at Sango 90,000). The gen engineer said he expect the generator to be more expensive than that.

* My question is how can I get ELEPAQ major distributor place in Lagos?

* How can one know the difference between a fake and an original Elepaq SV6500 E2?

* Like how much can I get it?

check 3000 .. should be around 80k for manual starter then key starter would cost more
