People really need to pay attention to details when watching games of thrones.

First the only time she used the whip to control the unsullied was when she used them to kill the masters. After that she set them free and gave them a choice: they could leave and live their lives if they chose, or they could fight for her without them being slaves. They chose to fight for her.

If you know the dothraki well, then you'll know that above all they follow strength... Strength not fear. Deanerys showed her strength in burning the khals. That was why they followed. She proved herself to be a leader, a warrior in a way.

It's very easy to miss all these stuff. That's why there are some very baseless arguments here... Because people don't pay attention to the tiny details.
