So sad, we are in a country where the chief sympathiser of a terrorist group is the C-in- C of the armed forces. BOKO HARAM is been funded in the name of Ransome. They keep defeating the group technically. |

Our soldiers deserve respect and should be well taken care of because they make the highest form of sacrifice in the land. They are being killed, not because the committed any offence, they sleep in bushes and forests just for we civilians to be at peace. May God bless and protect our Army |

post=77568468: It is so sad that this is one of the hideous vices the CRIMINAL party left us out of the 16 wasted years of the life of our nation.
The BILLION of DOLLARS that was supposed to be used to procure ammunitions for the Army to attack Boko Haram when they were just building up and bombing hundreds of people was shared among all the CRIMINALS that are ALL against Buhari now.
That the ATM called Dasuki (the head of the military) is still in detention and calling out all the names of the CRIMINALS he shared the money to while our soldiers are being slaughtered by Boko Haram like chickens.
All the people involved in this insurgency along with their supporters will NEVER ever know peace all the rest of their lives as President Buhari is doing all he can to right the wrongs.......
For those who may have forgotten, especially the wailing kids here on Nairaland, kindly joggle your memories with the following words on marble and you will agree with us that what happened in recent years was nothing but gathering of rogues, thieves and CRIMINALS.... Happy reading:
1. I acted based on Jonathan's instruction - Dasuki
2. I didn't give order - Jonathan
3. I collected 350M from Dasuki for consultation - Iyorchia Ayu
4. I only collected $30,000 from Dasuki not N100m - Bode George
5. I got N4.6b from Dasuki for spiritual purposes - Bafarawa
6. I got N650M from Dasuki for my Abuja burnt office - Thisday Obaigbena.
7. I got N2.1b from Dasuki for publicity - Dokpesi
8. I got another N100m from Yuguda he didn't tell me from where - Bafarawa.
9. I gave N100m each to Odili, Jim Nwobodo Bode George and others - Yuguda
10. The president asked me to change N10B to foreign currency for PDP delegates - Dasuki
11. My boss asked me to get $11M from the CBN - Dasuki's account officer.
12. I got order from above to pay Tompolo N13B for Maritime university land. - Nimasa DG.
13. 950m was shared in my house -- Shekarau

God bless our gallant soldiers as they lay their lives on the line for PEACE to reign in our nation. Now that the inspector general of the military is the defacto president/ Head of state and commander of the armed forces, what difference have you noticed. I think we should just be kind enough to stop deceiving ourselves in this country. For your information these armed bandits or Boko Haram or Fulani herdsmen are now better armed, more Dearing and well prepared to really unleash terror on Nigerians as they move Southwards. Except the government sit down and look at the real solution to our problem and stop the blame game. The blame game will not do this country any good. It is high time President Mohammodu Buhari do his job and if he is not competent enough or do not have the zeal to do it then he should step aside. The first duty of a president is to secure life and property of the citizens, not to fight corruption. By the time armed bandits or whatever name you wish to call them kills all Nigerian Buhari will not have any corruption to fight. I will therefore advise him to get his priorities right. Nothing is more than life. A dead person can never be corrupt. 2 Likes |

Countless times I've tried to bring myself to comment on sensitive issues such as this on NL but I always hesitate - not for lack of words. I hesitated because of the toxicity of this space. Young men and women who seek to pour out hate at every turn just to register their dissatisfaction with the system. Reason is far from us all and SELF-HATE like a veil robs us of all sense of propriety. Imagine KIDS celebrating the death of servicemen. The military might not be at their best, but are they not victims of the same faulty system just like you. The military is only paying the price of Nigeria's years of civilian misadministration. Shut them down for a week and watch this banana republic overrun from all sides. 1 Like |

MasterRahl: I sympathize heavily with men and women of the armed forces. These are indeed trying times. However, the following points are worthy of note:
1. Joining the armed forces is optional.
2. The strength of the armed forces will increase greatly when the government focuses on recruitment of well educated young men and women instead of SS3 boys/WAEC Holders. The intelligent quotient of educated people is much higher than that of the uneducated. Most of our soldiers are just barely educated and as such they do not understand that war is an art as well as a science. It is not all about pulling the trigger. Even if the government purchases the best equipment, it is no use unless those wielding them are well educated.

Sir/Ma Education has nothing to do with this. The lager bulk of every nation's military is made up of "Non-Graduates" (rank and file). They account for more than 80%. Their job is to provide the needed manpower in the field led by the few skilled (i.e. graduates/Officers) . The higher sense of professionalism and improved technical training make all the difference between A third-world serviceman and his western mate. |

Restructuring of this country is becoming inevitable by the day. a lot of killings are carried out daily at various quarters mainly in the north. If the north refuses restructuring, killings will continue in there land and the Igbos will be moving higher. when the northern elders deny there wards right to education and civilization mainly because they want to be used as tools for there political gains against the south, this is the result.. |

God bless our gallant soldiers as they lay their lives on the line for PEACE to reign in our nation. your loyalty to buhari has infected and made your reasoning defective. Its a pity this nation has a long way to go with your types around. Dont do anything proactive just keep blaming gej forever. Paul kegame of Rwanda is not blaming those who plunged his country to genocide he worked. Here we have ppl bereft of ideas who must rule by hook or crook and turn around to blame others for their brainlessness . Chadian president fired his military chief over the death of 23 soldiers, we lost over 1000 last year yet your president see not need to bring in fresh hands, that is gej's fault. Your president withdrew $1bn to fight boko haram yet soldiers cry for lack of arms, that is gej's fault I guess. Gej brought the bandits, fulani killers, murderous sars etc. Gej may not be faultless but the most idiotic thing to do is to not face the issue but pass blames endlessly. I feel ashamed for this country. There is no hope in sight. 1 Like |
