23 Nigerians On Death Row In Saudi Arabia (Full Names) by Nobody: 8:29pm On Apr 15, 2019 |
As things stand, at least 23 more Nigerians, according to TheNation, are destined to suffer Afolabi's fate, having been convicted for flouting the Narcotic and Psychotropic Substances Control Law, issued under Royal Decree No. M/39 dated 8/7/1428AH, which is punishable by death. There has been so much public uproar condemning both the Nigerian and Saudi Arabian governments after the execution of a Nigerian woman, Kudirat Adeshola Afolabi, who was found guilty of drug trafficking. While Nigerians insisted Afolabi was only a victim of drug syndicate group at Nigerian airports, both governments maintained she was actually guilty of the crime. Following Afolabi's execution, it was revealed that another Nigerian, Saheed Sobade, was facing the prospect of death in Saudi Arabia after being nabbed with 1,183 grams of cocaine powder in Jeddah, a Saudi Arabian port city on the Red Sea and gateway for pilgrimages to the Islamic holy cities Mecca and Medina. The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Nigeria responded to widespread criticism of Afolabi's execution by insisting that all legal and judicial procedures were observed. "It is well-known for all those interested in travelling to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that the penalty for drug trafficking is the death sentence and the said sentence is applied on all persons convicted without any exceptions, as long as the evidence is established against them, and this is conveyed to every person prior to his trip to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia," it said. They were arrested between 2016 and 2017 at the King Abdul-Aziz International Airport, Jeddah and Prince Muhammad bin Abdu- Aziz International Airport, Madinah. u3fine: Is that all you have to say? Are you people no longer checking names? This has finally put to the Grave the very myopic idea and notion that "IGBOS PUSH DRUGS AND ITS EXCLUSIVE TO THEM". Look at that list very well. Its full of names from the West and the North. You can see that some Nigerians have crime embedded in there DNA and its not an Igbo thing. Go to Sahara reporters page and see some Yorubas there pretending to be preachers. Many are saying "Things are hard under Buhari and we have to survive"..... "Crime is not a tribal thing". Hypocrisy raised to power 100! Oh.... I now understand why the Federal government is pushing for there release. Because its not an exclusive list of Igbos? What about Igbos in prison in Thailand? South Africa? Malaysia? Nigerians can now see that we are our own enemies. While we are here battling ourselves and imploding, our brothers out there are on death row! To be executed with huge matchetes! Does the matchete know Hausa? Does the Matchete know Yoruba? Does the matchete know Igbo? The Matchete only knows " USELESS NIGERIANS COMING TO OUR COUNTRY TO SPOIL IT. I WILL CUT THERE HEAD." Let me repeat it again... "ITS DEATH BY BEHEADING. THERE HEAD WILL BE DECAPITATED AND SEPARATED FROM THERE BODIES!" Last but not Least (Coz I have a lot to say); " WHERE IS THAT USELESS AND HEARTLESS WOMAN CALLED ABIKE DABIRI? A CRIMINAL AND SHAMELESS WOMAN WHO DOES NOT KNOW THAT SHE IS A MINISTER AND SHOULD BE PROMOTING PEACE! She was the first person to publish the names of Igbos on a platter of gold on Twitter. Why has she gone numb on this one? Oh... I remember vividly... These ones are Humans and not destroying our nation. Igbos are the evil ones and should be executed!! But I do know there are sensible Hausas, Yorubas and other tribes who sees beyond tribe and know that its a national shame. I know because I have met them. God bless the people of Nigeria. I won't say God bless Nigeria because I don't like this country. This is a jungle and not a nation. 391 Likes 29 Shares |

Stupid thread. How possible is this that the list will be void of other tribes. Just Yorubas and possibly a northerner. I call on the mods to close this stupid thread right away. 19 Likes 13 Shares |

Officialgarri:If the truth hit u guys with jackhammer u will still not notice it. Igbos sell drugs...no doubt...but so do everyother tribe in nigeria. D reason u get to hear about igbo drug dealers more is because many go to highly developed democracies like malaysia, SA, singapore etc. In these places, information are open...but in places like saudi where yoro moslems go....they kill drug offenders steady without announcing it. Also china. Many yorubas and niger deltans are in chinese prisons without information 111 Likes 9 Shares |
