how do i clean up a phone before selling it. dont want what is happening to bros Ladiesreject do me... thanks

Go to phone settings - mi Account - sign out.

It's always advisable you do your factory reset Thru the settings option, rather than hard reset. At that point, u will be asked Ur mi login details, n if there is any issue, you can sharperly detect n do the recovery ish before doing the reset.

Logging out of mi account and factory reset are 2 different operations. If one simply clicks on factory reset without logging out of mi account, the system will not mandate the person to. All one needs to do factory reset is the phone unlock code /pattern.

Pros: Decent design, and battery life, also if you like Android one ( not a fan of miui)
Cons: slightly dated processor and GPU.
Not so good camera

Yes I do..it has more ram, better exterior appeal and like someone from this thread mentioned more stable gcam mod. But that's not the issue here. This is the first time I'm going to invest so much into a phone exceeding my first and only budget by as much as 40k. Redmi note 5 was my first love but this k5 pro is the contender, basically guys I want to feel like I made the right choice through the advice of phone enthusiasts in the house. Please keep the bias to a minimum as much as possible..thanks cheesy

Well as for me, I'll pick the note 5 over k5pro any day, any time, the dev support for whyred is so massive that it's enough reason to trump any other competitor

The note 5 will outlast the Lenovo k5 pro in terms of support, I think you made your decision based on your budget. Well no one will coerce you into buying anything you don't want. Man you got to live with your decision, if you feel you made the right one go for it cos no one will make you feel good/bad about it.

go for RN5ai, its better and you will keep enjoying the phone till even 2021, even OnePlus 3/3t are still getting custom Rom support, RN5ai will get till even more than 2021. Lenovo is fine but we doubt how long you will get custom rom support much more official support. And sd636 on RN5ai is quite good for your gaming demands and daily processing too

Support on the K5 pro is poor, we.have someone who bought the phone here and he didn't have much good to say about the phone from the software point of view.

Alright bro.. Thanks.
I wanted the phone because of the small size... Do you have better suggestions on phones of that size with better specs?....
I am not a camera person btw... If it gets the job done, am good.

At times, I laugh when I see coments like this. The obvious truth was being told to guide the person that asked about K5 pro & Note 5, but u are misleading the person.

For the record, there is also 6gb ram 64gb rom variant for NOte 5

Someone here bought the K5 Pro, and gave a thorough review; The phone doesnt have good software support (Miui is better that its UI), the phone camera is not as good as Note 5 (GCAM didnt even help the camera), there is no hope of the phone receiving Android P update, and doesnt have developers support like Note 5.

Lesson - Paper specs are not enough to make decisions, peoples reviews are also needed.
