The dates are a function of the embassy you want to have the interview, not the location you apply from.
If you are in Germany and you pick Lagos as interview location, it will be same date as if you are in Ikeja and pick Lagos as interview location.
VPN won't give you priority.

Someone has said this is Summer Peak Period, and Lagos has a 3-4months wait period. Abuja is almost same

hello all , a friend of mine is in need of urgent advice, right now she is in the United states ,she travelled with her brother in law 30yrs of age and her two kids for a family occassion, they all applied together , the issue is the brother in law has told her he is not coming back ,all her pleas for him to reconsider are falling on deaf ears,so she will be returning without him.
she is now worried about how it is going to affect her if she wants to travel in the future as they are bearing the same name ,she still plans to holliday next year as the visa expires in 2021 ,please any advice for her.

WASHINGTON—President Trump and his top aides are weighing rules designed to clamp down on countries whose nationals overstay short-term visitor visas as part of a broader push for new ways to curb immigration.

The effort would target nationals of countries with high overstay rates of such visas, which include the African nations of Nigeria, Chad, Eritrea, Liberia and Sierra Leone, according to Department of Homeland Security data. The U.S. as part of a new rule would tell the countries’ governments that if rates don’t reverse, then future visas could be shorter or harder to get, according to an administration official who described the move as putting those countries “on notice.” Ultimately, nationals from countries with high overstay rates could be barred entirely, though the official said no ban is now under consideration.

The pregnant woman who conceals pregnancy during visa interview is no way different from the idiot who does not conceal but gives birth without either paying completely, uses Insurance or benefits from discount same as the mofo who goes to the U.S. on a visit visa and disappears into thin air, thereby destroying opportunities for Nigerians who have followed the law to the later.

They are all the same bunch of unscrupulous, morally depraved and terribly insatiable Nigerians and that habit doesn't come to me as a surprise.

It will NEVER stop, the ball is in the court of President Trump and Congress to stop these trends by either withrawing/restricting citizenship by birth to countries notorious for visa racketeering/fraud and/or visa restrictions to those who have misused their visas.

Hello guru in the house,please help me....What can I do,if my passport expires before my interview, can I go with the renew one?.What I mean is that I was about to fill my DS-160 when I checked my passport and realizes it will expires in June and my propose travel/interview would be August. please can I go ahead and fill the form,book interview with the present passport number having in mind to renewed it before August ,so that I can go with the two passport on the interview date....(the passports will have two different numbers)

or Do I have to renew my passport so that the new passport number can appear on the DS-160 and the appointment letter.meaning My August travel date is not visible again.
