Yes I do..it has more ram, better exterior appeal and like someone from this thread mentioned more stable gcam mod. But that's not the issue here. This is the first time I'm going to invest so much into a phone exceeding my first and only budget by as much as 40k. Redmi note 5 was my first love but this k5 pro is the contender, basically guys I want to feel like I made the right choice through the advice of phone enthusiasts in the house. I know you might feel that you will get biased opinions here, but I personally believe the Redmi note 5 is a better buy. The Lenovo K5 Pro might look slightly more appealing than the Note 5, heck the 6GB version of the K5 Pro might be cheaper than the 6GB variant of the Note 5. But there is one thing that you should seriously consider; software.
The Note 5 comes with MIUI (Xiaomi's custom Android skin), while the K5 Pro has ZUI (Lenovo's custom Android skin). MIUI isn't perfect; some hate it, while others love it. However, MIUI is much better optimized than ZUI. Most ZUI users are usually frustrated by ZUI's RAM management, it's just not as good as MIUI's. When you talk of updates and bug fixes, MIUI is also better in this regard. You can check other sites like the xda forums to verify what I have just typed.
In conclusion, the choice is absolutely yours to make, but if you do settle for the Lenovo you might end up flashing a custom ROM on it.
