Oga, all these one na epistle. Nothing about Killmonger's upbringing that's special. What's so deep about his motivations that we haven't seen before? Abeg, BP had a simple Nollywood-esque plot and no matter of iconic lines makes Killmonger special. He's a one-dimensional villain.

Repeating a lie many times does not make it true.

Killmonger is one of the most sympathetic villains in comic book movies. He is not one dimensional

Wow, you group The Blind spot,, Designated Survivor and Tyrant and classify them all as thrash?
Blindspot that is almost patterned like 24 is thrash?
Quite interesting.
Pls do u mind giving me a list of series that "your opinion" that is worthy to be deemed good..
Am very curious.

And pls dont include GOT on the list.
Did you say Blindspot is patterned like 24? Did 24 ever resemble some fantastical procedural show? Abeg, don't insult one of the greatest series of all time

Are you mad?

Killmonger is one of the most sympathetic villains in comic book movies.

You should be ashamed as a black african that you cannot understand the deep motivations of killmonger in the BP movie.

Killmonger grew up on hate as it was stated I the movie. He grew up as an abandoned black kid in the ghetto with no parents. His African tribe neglected him while his American roots consisted of racism and poverty.

He fought wars for a country that did not respect his humanity and his race.

Killmonger even delivered one Of the most iconic lines in comic book history-

"Just bury me in the ocean with my ancestors who jumped from ships, 'cause they knew death was better than bondage"

A lot of Nigerians do not understand anything about racism. Shame.

Tribalism we know. Cultural jingoism, absolutely. Nepotism, we can relate. What is this racism you speak of?

Classic strawman. I never said that the plot of black panther is fantastic.

The beauty of black panther's plot lies in its simplicity and effectiveness.

So why the hell were you arguing with me that the plot was straightforward simple (predictable) and nothing great when you've just conceded that the plot line is simple?

BP's greatness comes from its cultural significance mostly and not this twists and turns you're displaying here. The movie plot-wise, is just there.

In the movie, he's just a one-dimensional villain, though I enjoyed his act more than BP's.

Simple does not mean predictable.

Did you predict the twist that killmonger would become king?

BP is the only movie where blacks have been blackmailed with the racism tag the most, once they don't praise the movie to high heavens.

No Batman was clearly the leader here, that's why he had a contingency plan for all the JL members, he was no longer trusted, that's why there was a vote if he should stay or leave.
Even Superman voted for Batman to be the leader of The JL.

Who doesn't know the Killmonger would defeat BP the first time before BP would return to take back his rightful throne like in most Nollywood movies?

Is that the question that I asked? Was it straightforward that killmonger was also a heir to the Wakamdan throne?

Because BP was boring. Killmonger was more energetic and convincing. Not because he's the sympathetic BS you keep spewing.

It was deeper than that. He also hated colonialists. He even had more hate for the western world than his uncle or tribe.

Nollywood-styled script that's visible to the blind, yet he keeps telling us Killmonger's story had a deep origin, like we haven't seen Jim Iyke and co in such situations a zillion times.

You're asking this question because you haven't seen Nollywood productions where the prince's uncle's son, or the king's concubine's son came years later to claim the right to the throne. Predictable _shit!!

You do realise that killmonger wanted to bomb the western world with Wakandan technology?

Racism also played a part in his villainous motivations.

It's subtle enough that certain Nigerians who know nothing about race will miss

Blah blah blah.

Some serial killers suffered some psychological abuse from their mothers or watched their fathers maltreated or cheated on by their mothers as a child and developed hate for the female genders. Nothing subtle in Killmonger's upbringing that any human with a functioning brain would miss. Next!!

WRONG

Killmonger is an African not an African American. Unlike the typical African American, he knew his roots and went back.

You see why I keep saying the average Nigerian like yourself does not understand racism/race? If you were woke enough, you wouldnt be asking why he hated colonialists.

Killmonger obviously suffered racism as a ghetto child in the USA. He was then scripted as a soldier to fight wars for the USA. If you understood your history, America was involved in many unjust wars and looting from many other countries.

Now, imagine knowing that you are a an African Prince and then treated like black shite by Americans and then, you are forced to fight for the same country that was occupying/looting other countries, would you like the idea of colonialism?

Did it go over your head when Killmonger was in a British museum talking about looted African relics?

Of course, like a shallow person, you seem to focus on the iceberg you see not knowing that there is another part submerged under water.

Only a shallow person would think that revenge for the death of his dad was killmongers only motivation.
