oyetpel: Some fantasies are now bigger than life, there is an entire universe created for GOT online, countless YouTube channels that dissects GOT, Marvel is a planet on its own with millions on of theories from people all over the world, DC is on another planet, the fantasies that has created so much reality for millions goes on and on. So if there is an argument about the so-called fantasies it because of what they bring to reality, I see most argument aas people trying to share what they know, but trying to discredit what the other person knows, of course no one knows everything. The moment you admit you don't know everything - you will have enough bags of 'L' s thrown at you. So no one wants to look like they are returning from an L supermarket. But the problem is how do you argue with someone that has a very strong, immovable, unshaken, impenetrable conviction that the sun rises from a cave and sleeps in cave. 1 Like |

Beorn:Excuse you?? Self-entitled, you say? We have to endure pages and pages of boring drivel and you're here telling me about "self entitlement all the time"?? When arguments, some even abour series take up most of the space here, then purpose of the thread is defeated. You've got jokes. 1 Like |

JeromeBlack: You are going too far, all this touchscreen phones were first a product of Sci-fi movies, now it's everywhere. When it first came out it was so unreal that only the rich could afford it. Now we will soon have holograms that was also a product of Sci-fi movies. 1 Like |

Ishilove: Yeah. The wife of top government spy fronting as sales man, wanted to cheat on her husband with a con man that was pretending to be a secret agent, the husband learns about this and planed a sting operation to burst the wife and the con man red handed. Soon the wife find out who her husband really is (the kind of man she has been dreaming about) when the bad guys came calling. 8.5/10 for me, a classic. |

Ishilove: When for example you've discussed time-travel movies in the past over many pages, or engaged in your banter with Jerome multiple times in the last, did you think the purpose of the thread wasn't defeated at that point? Side talks are part and parcel of every thread, movies are still regularly listed and rated despite the debates. |

BATMAN BAD BLOOD...6/10 GENRE: Action, Animation I think I expected way too much here. The premise was good, but seemed quite rushed, it had a good sense of humor & character development was ok, the voice over wasn't that good as it seemed quite the same. A slightly average flick for me. |
Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by mekaprime: 3:20pm On Apr 18, 2019 |
OUTLANDER..7/10 GENRE:Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi For a B-grade Sci-fi movie, i was quite skeptic at first, but am finally glad, it sure did exceeded my expectations. In as much as it seemed cliché, it did it's very best to make it self stand out in such a way that it seemed like an original. The cast & script/storyline were very good, so also were the directing, CGI, cinematography & the music. A very entertaining flick if you ask me. |

MY TOP 7 LIAM NEESON MOVIES Liam Neeson is a very amazing actor, with a unique vocal cord & am just amazed as to how he delivers his lines to perfection. He has delivered a lot of mesmerizing performances in his career and I’ll try to list 7 of his movies, i consider as my all time favorites. In no particular order i have: Schindler's List (1993) Genre:Biography, Drama, History Taken Trilogy Genre: Action, Thriller Non-Stop (2014) Genre:Action, Mystery, Thriller Run All Night (2015) Genre:Action, Drama, Thriller Unknown (2011) Genre:Action, Mystery, Thriller The Grey (2011) Genre: Action, Adventure, Drama The A Team (2010) Genre: Crime, Thriller My favourite movie line comes from the taken TRILOGY and I quote: I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you upvote my answer now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you. 3 Likes 1 Share |

mekaprime: Taken part 1 was an action packed interesting movie. The producers then totally lost it in subsequent parts. They couldn't handle the success of the part 1. Ruined the trilogy for me. |

Beorn: So true bro. I only included the whole trilogy cause it felt somehow mentioning just the first TAKEN & ignoring the rest. |

So I just watched Bird box and it's really a 9/10 for me. I enjoyed watching it so much that I didn't move an inch all through. I love movies that gives me intense adrenaline rush just like No escape 2015 movie and 2013 World War Z..... It feels like I'm right there in the movie. My best genre of movie being horror followed by thriller filled action/heist movies. The 1% i removed is because they didn't get to explain the "If you look, you die" phenomenon but all the same....the movie is great and is recommended for thriller and horror movie lovers like me. 1 Like |

Shugah:Bird box was ok. Most of us here have actually seen the movie, because, I remember us dissecting the move here sometime in December last year. NO ESCAPE the same one by Owen Wilson?... Menh that movie sure gave me one heck of an adrenaline thrill, it was as though I was with Owen & his family all the way....You should probably see A QUITE PLACE by Emily Blunt. 1 Like |

mekaprime: The Grey thought me how deadly, relentless and intelligent a wolf pack can be. Schlinders List is a classic. The last moment when his character was weeping that he should have saved more gave me the feels. Taken should have been left well alone as a standalone. The sequels completely ruined it's legacy. Unknown has a teeth shattering plot twist that completely caught me unawares. I remember watching that movie mainly because of Diane Kruger. I had a huge crush on her after seeing her in The Bridge (tv show) and Mr Nobody. She didn't disappoint. My list is a little different from yours: - Rob Roy - Schlinders List - The Grey - Unknown - Taken (part 1) |
