Your IAT reads a rather higher value than normal.

Replace CTS, and IAT.

Footnote: hope your ECU is still factory follow come ECU and your car isn't flooded sha.

Car isn’t flooded. The throttle body was cleaned of carbon with fuel. After then I started noticing these rise in temperature and erratic rpm. It idles at 1200 rpm.

Just curious. What if the ECU is not factory fitted but a replacement?

IAC might had been blocked or misaligned. If your throttle body was cleaned properly, ask our mechanic to align the IAC sensor and idle adjusment screw and the TPS till you get a reading of between 700-850 rpm steady at idle.

Car gurus in the house, I noticed that in my Honda accord EOD 05 model, the speedometer moves erratically, the gearbox when in motion changes roughly, both on high speed and low speed, I diagnosed it, but got no codes, I feel it's the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) that's the culprit, my problem here is locating the speed sensor, but, wetin I know, kindly show me d location of d speed sensors, and if you have other solutions to this issue, I will be happy if you can tell me.

Hello gurus in the house , thank you for outstanding online supports.
Pls I uses 2007 honda pilot with an issue of high fuel consumption, after scan it generated a code P0 172 and later generated another code, P0 430. Now the car no more accelerate faster as it use to.

On P0 172, I've worked on the injectors and they are OK, checked for exhaust leakage and it's OK,air filter is OK, all plugs functioning well. I've not changed any sensor yet.

Scan result shown below.

Pls I need your assistance.

Thank you @kingreign.
The overheating was as a result of malfunctioning fan relay. Changed that and fan is fine. Though the high rpm has not been solved yet. Car idles at 1000rpm after your procedure but sometimes I still feel a gentle rise in rpm when am braking... changed plugs and serviced the nozzle, changed the throttle body and CTS. No luck.

Beke2020:
Hello house,
I use a Honda 2005 model.
For two months now my car started surging. I took it to my mechanic and he scanned it and changed something but the surging persist. I went back and he said it was the gearbox. I contacted another mechanic, that one worked on it but no change.i took it to a third mechanic. He said I should change the fuel pump. But still no improvement. Rather, in the process my kickstarter got bad and top gasket. Had to replace both. Met with a fourth mechanic now just last week. He changed the two gear censor N12k each and the fuel pump again, but the surging continues, the following day as I pick My car from him my alternator got bad. Truly I dont know what to do. A new mechanic just change the alternator. But I observed the D for drive on the dashboard is beeping, though surging still persist.

Pls what should I do? Do I change the gearbox? Almost all the mechanic said my gearbox is okay.

I need your advise

Having same issue with my honda civic 08 but my story is different.

My car was working perfect except that the power steering pump makes my steering hard when slowing diwn to make a turn. So i decide to purchase a new power steering pump.

When the mechanic wanted to remove the PSP, he saw that the pSP was still good but the 2 bolts holding it were broken into the engine.

And the only option that i was given was for they to remove my engine to get the broken bolts out, which they did.

After fitting my car engine together,

...... my check engine light came up.
...... car wont rev when idle
...... car jerk heavily when shifting from P
..... serious body vibration and noise
..... sucking fuel 4x normal consumption
..... D never stops blinking even after shifting from D to others

I took the car back and all bolts were tighten and the mechanic called a rewire. To make it rev.

still nothing chanced only that the car could rev. And more problem surfaced. Eg
......battery not charging
...... AC fan comes on when AC is off and AC fan goes off when AC is put on, cause overheating.
..... car stiil jerking whenever i shift to R or D
..... rev now between 1500 to 2000 on idle
...... lagging when moving with sound like handbrakes not down.
...... forceful movement and late changing in gear when on motion.
...... D shift still blinks on dash board

Visited 2 other rewires in oyingbo. Same problems resurface after leaving there and driving some distance.

So i took it for a scan and the result was

=P0141
=P1658
=P0369
=P16BB

And the scanner man worked on it and everything seem pretty perfect but the check engine came back not long same day .

All problem gone, just the check engine light on and Ac fan permanently rolling as soon as i put on the engine. While D still blinks on dash board

Not until last night, while i was trying to turn around the car within a street. My gear shifter, just got slippery from P to D1 back and forth without changing. And i got stucked on R ...

I put off my engine and then it refuse to start cos the gear is on R but i move the shifter to P and N ... it still show gear on R on the dash board.

Im now very confused. My car just go worst. Need help

I dont know why i allow my engine to be removed sef.

it's a 3 wired sensor.

P0325 is your knock sensor, has nothing to do with fuel consumption.

Check your catalyst and fuel ratio sensor

Check your tyre pressure first before working on anything else. Happened to me and it turned out that there was not enough air in the tyres. Pumped them and fuel consumption was back to normal.

Abeg this last week I did a trip to and from another state with a 2004 accord i4 after which I noticed that anytime I’m doing above 100kmph or pushing the throttle to overtake I start smelling fuel in the car but if I wind up and use aircon and even open up that crawl space between the back seat rests leading to the boot I won’t smell anything.

This means the smell is coming from the engine. I inspected the fuel lines and they are not leaking. Even the fuel pump in the boot isn’t leaking. The intake hoses are all good too. Please where else can this fuel be leaking out from?

So you have a V6 engine.

You cant have a 2.4ivtec and have bank 1 and bank 2 in the same car.

Only V6 has bank 1 and 2.

Unless you mean to say bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 1 sensor 2.
You are right its sensor1 and sensor 2. Bank 1. So replacing will do the trick?

2.4ivtec has no bank 2.

It's not suppose to be.check your silencer long rod, their might have been a little leakage there.

You are suppose to only smell exhuast I:e when you press the throttle down fully.if you smells exhaust flame it means your engine is badly okay..

fans are working and coolant is at normal level in radiator but when I use my hand to cover the radiator, I don’t feel any pressure or vapor or even water circulation. What could be the issue?.
