By Dirisu Yakubu ABUJA- The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, will react formally to Thursday’s sacking of the suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Walter Onnoghen, National Publicity Secretary of the party, Kola Ologbondiyan has said. Onnoghen was dismissed by Code of Conduct Tribunal yesterday in a judgment by its chairman, Danladi Umar who also barred him from holding any public office for a period of ten years in addition to furfeiture of cash in five accounts he failed to declare at the Code of Conduct Bureau. “We will react formally, that’s for sure,” the publicity scribe said even as he reiterated the support of the party in the fight against corruption. I'm thinking should PDP have a say in this if there was no mischief concocted with Onnoghen initially? Onnoghen is supposed to be the Chief Justice of Nigeria, not PDP legal counsel. It's obvious PDP had an initial plan involving this man 61 Likes 5 Shares |

This just confirms Onoghe’s indirect membership of the corrupt party called PDP. There is need to check the INEC Microsoft server in order to confirm if this is true 32 Likes 3 Shares |

Yeye people. Their plans didn't work out. Onnoghen was the foreman of their fraudulent activities, who know how many cases he has declared in their favour. At least we see his pictures frolicking with PDP bigwigs. Their opinion is irrelevant or let's just say an opinion to further castigate the government for breaking their judicial backbone. 27 Likes 3 Shares |

.......... must everything be handled from politically? any public servants, civil servants and political appointees that is or has being found wanting should be dealt with accordingly. political sentiment should be left out of the scheme of things in Nigeria system. no matter how little the cjn would have guilty of whatever allegation levelled against him. if individuals in Nigeria don't start facing the music of their actions and inactions things won't change for good and Nigerians won't sit-up. 4 Likes |

'“We will react formally, that’s for sure",...as he reiterated the support of the party in the fight against corruption.' I can't wait to read PDP's reaction. It will take the combined efforts of communication, legal, Psychology and Criminology experts to come up with something that will not further portray the party as corrupt while they seek to defend Onnoghen and condemn APC and the Judiciary... and still manage to support the fight against corruption. 22 Likes 2 Shares |
