Instead of militarizing security in Nigeria, the federal government should train and equip the Nigerian police force with adequate funding to tackle insecurity. Less than 200,000 police officers can not secure 180million Nigerians therefore the federal government should stop giving state Governors security votes cos it ain't working. The money that state Governors get as security votes should rather be used by the federal government to equip and train the police and also carry out massive recruitment. Again
200,000 policemen is a far cry to secure 180million people

The federal government should also withdraw all police personal attached to VIPs
