I have been saying this. The birth rate in this country is alarming. And the population is disturbing.

Nice idea Mr Ben but how is population control possible in a place like Nigeria with no infrastructure or welfare.You need infrastructure and welfare scheme to push population control, You can't come out to tell people not to have a certain number of kids when you don't effect them in any way rather want Taxes and illicit charges from them.

NIGERIA IS ALSO POOR BECAUSE THE COST OF GOVERNANCE IS VERY HIGH.

This is especially true when one consider the security votes, furniture allowances, car allowances of senators, legislators etc.

Our Hallowed Chambers ( national assembly and the state house of assembly ) should be run on part time instead of full time to cut the high cost of governance.

NORTHERN NIGERIA IS ALSO CREATING HUGE FINANCIAL BURDENS FOR THE SOUTHERN PART OF NIGERIA DUE TO THEIR ISLAMIC RELIGION THAT PERMIT A MAN TO HAVE MORE THAN ONE WIFE.

Aint good making unverifiable argument here. You using china in comparision to Nigeria, do u know chinese land mass compare to nigeria that can support their large population. What about Law in china whereby a child per family.

If the population is well control, there would be enough resources to share among the populace. No first world nation that their population exceeds 5 milloin at most

China was one of the poorest countries 20yrs ago until they introduced the one child policy that slowed down their population.Today China is the 2nd largest economy and has encouraged a two child policy.This is not the only factor that helped thier economy.

Our constitution should be abolished by running a referendum on each of any law contained in our constitution by the public and it should signed into law too and before any law is passed it should made public so as we the masses will vote in or vote out

He is wrong. We are poor because our leaders have chosen that part. Africas problem is a leadership problem and not of population problem. We are the only continent in the world where the sun shines through out without no form of natural disaster.

Our resources at hand is more than enough to feed our ever growing population but the thing question is; what have we done as a nation to manage those resources?

Look at Liberia, George weah is the president. One would think that he is the Messiah of Liberia but no, he is selling Liberia to the Arabs.. When can we ever think forward as a nation or as africans?

We allow foreigners into the country, they are more than welcome but my issue is ; why is it that they continue to exploit us in our own land.
