A not very original movie, but the humor is absolutely spot on, It's very sarcastic and just over the top dumb, and I absolutely loved it.
Anna Kendrick & Sam Rockwell both gave an outstanding performance. Overall this movie was awesome,It was very funny with lots of action, and some romance thrown into it. If you are looking for a good action,comedy, romance movie for a date night, this is definitely a good pick.

After watching this film in the cinema, I was wondering why all the negative reviews?

This movie is all about demons and monsters so you should expect gore, demons, monsters and a lot of killing.

I guess the reason why this film had so many negative reviews is because of the massive gore. People being skinned alive, torn to pieces, burnt to ashes etc, but the producers stated right from time that it is going to have a lot of gore, so I don't see any reason why the reviews were too harsh on this film.

If I don't find them interesting.

Managed to find a not too bad Quality.... Although they kept spamming their website texts allover the Screen...


Overall good movie, epic fights... Everything was golden, except for the fact that she ended up being a hòrny cyborg, but they rectified that by eliminating the dude that tied her destiny... So I guess it was all good in the end... Looking forward to the sequel ✔️

The movie has pacing issues. It also angered many fans by being an origin story with some retconning instead of being part 3.

The movie feels disjointed at times and the script is just there.

Decided to revisit the Classic.....

I've seen Hellboy, not from my own dime, mind. I may be frivolous on occasions but I'm not so stupid as to throw away my money on a reboot with dire reviews.

Anyhoo, seen it, and it was truly a rated R kinda film; the action scenes were decent, the gore was brutal, fun characters... honestly, I had a blast watching it. If you don't mind the pacing, which feel rushed at times, it's pretty enjoyable.


7/10 would recommend if you're into no-holds-barred movies with horror elements and good visuals.

C'mon now, a disjointed script won't stop anybody from enjoying a blood-and-gore fiesta. The bold is your way of saying you're not a fan of blood-and-gore.

Enjoy the good and pay the bad no mind is what I do in situations like this. The film being rated R is a plus enough, considering it's a blockbuster. For context, not many blockbusters are rated R.

Blood-and-gore fans, you might wanna check out the following:

- Feast franchise: tarantino-esque horror. People trapped in a cabin and surrounded by nightmarish creatures.
- The Descent: Basically a bunch of ladies lost their way in an underground cave, and are thoroughly terrorized by mutated cave creatures henceforth.
- The Hills Have Eyes: Watch the unrated version. You could imagine the level of gore in a movie that transcends censorship.
- Saw franchise: Different and creative ways to kill people.
- The Mist: Better than the novel. Started off as your average family drama, then escalated to absolute horror. The ending though... that sh*t will f**k you up.
- Jeeper Creeper 2: School bus get stuck up in middle of nowhere, and the students in the bus are getting attacked by the friendly neighborhood creeper.
- The Cabin in The Woods; If science fiction hooks up with psychological horror, they'd give birth to something like this.
- 30 Days of Night; Setting - middle of bumhole, Alaska. Population - handful of civilians. Predators - Vampires. Gore - loads and loads of it.
- Event Horizon: Another deprived spurn of an unholy amalgam of sci-fi and horror.
- Wrong Turn: related to The Hills Have Eyes. Bunch of deformed hillbillies laying traps to catch people for... dinner.

Disclaimer: Not for the faint of heart. If you're a pussy, don't watch.
