listen,I just showed you both UNICEF and USAID reports that states that Ghana's population that has access to safe portable water is 80% and you are still talking trash and let me tell you,in Ghana majority of our water source is from the Ghana Water Company Limited(GWCL) who supplies to the whole nation and private borehole companies are not common to see.When you have a home,you expect the GWCL to provide you with safe drinking pipe borne water connected to your kitchen,washrooms and house as a whole at a fee.We do prepaid water metres here just like electricity so water bill is mostly not monthly billed buh billed per the quantity you use.Water has to flow throughout the year with a little fluctuation in say ones in a month buh they treat their customers as clients so they make sure water flows everytime.If there tap is not flowing it becomes a national crises cos just like electricity,boreholes and generators are not an option because we always expect water to flow through our taps..In the rural communities there are government sponsored boreholes dug at strategic locations in every rural community with some powered by solar panels.Water and electricity are always provided by the government at a prepaid fee in Ghana because we pay good price for them just like there's no fuel and gas shortages.So UNICEF and USAID knows what there are saying when they say 80% of Ghanaian population has access to safe improved water source.My pipe flows everyday and it's all conneced to the national reservoir which is highly treated and safely distributed nationwide.
