As a Nigerian from Yoruba descent, if the presidency does not go to the East come 2023, I will personally start my own referendum for the Igbos. Haba! If they are good enough to be part of Nigeria, they must be good enough to be president. Having expressed my personal views on this matter, I really don't care about a person's tribe and it's ridiculous sentiments like this that keeps dividing us. The presidency is no tribe's birth right. We need qualified, well rounded people to lead us in the coming years. Enough of these venomous vicious politics. 11 Likes |

Maybe you should tell your osu friends that politics isn't about entitlement or sentiment cos politics of hate will take them nowhere it's about give and take. If northerners then refuse to support a yoruba presidency come 2023 then we will know where they stand but till then we wait. PeacenLove2: 7 Likes |

Statements such as this one you posted are often very misleading. When you say "the yourbas have enjoyed..." you are hastily equating yoruba politicians (and their cohorts) to the generality of Yoruba people (40million or so in number). Unless ofcourse you mean to create mischief, there can be no denying the fact that the average Yoruba man has not benefited more in comparison to the average Nigerian from other parts of the country. If there is pls point me in such direction and I mean tangible things that have benefitted the Yoruba people as a whole as compared to other geo-political zones in the country. The truth is politicians across Nigeria have continued to benefit by illegally enriching themselves whilst enslaving all Nigerians. Case closed. nazicartel: 2 Likes |
