my advice to you is to move to another state rent a small single room , and start your life afresh on the low key . dont worry about your parents , your a man now .

You are not going to start popping pills immediately. Could take years if you take care of yourself; eat well, supplement, exercise and avoid stress. Avoid getting the sack at work by actually concentrating on the job because truth is things aren't as bad as you are making it out to be. I also doubt companies demand to know the HIV status of their prospective employees. The FG certainly don't so you may consider applying for FG jobs. Worst case scenario is you end up being your own boss in whatever little business you can start up with your little savings.

I know it all looks gloomy at the moment but chin up man, you will get through this.

in everything family comes first
if you go far away from them who will take care of you when in need
don't you know that there are some disease that are far worse and kills faster than HIV
maybe you should ask some people living with hepatitis
I have seen people who lives with HIV so far they are on drugs they live fine, infact they looked more healthier than some non carriers

I can't tell them Sir, I have disappointed them already. What am i to tell them?? that the son they suffered for under the rain and sun to make sure he's a graduate and have a bright future has gotten HIV. The thought alone can harm my mother and my father will be let down because he even uses me a standard to other people.

I brought this upon myself, i don't want to make my parents depressed. I'll handle it alone.
As for friends, i have very few of them, so starting from today i'm getting rid of all of them, i need to let everyone go.

Hello, I think at this point you have to calm down. Hiv is just any other desease out there. As an educated person, you shouldn't have an out look to your predicament like an ill informed individual.

Take into advicement suggestions made by people here, also endeavor to book a session witha councilor in any teaching hospital close to you, make your own research about this illness and survival chances.
Knowledge is power and information is everything. The better you're informed about this disease, the more power you have to overcome the challenge.

You have nothing to be afraid of. Just make sure whatever you do, you stay on medications.

Please, do not off yourself. You're better off staying alive in the land of the living.

Think of your mum. Don't do it. I know you fell miserable, but just take this feeling and imagine how your mum will feel when you commit sucide. It will be 10 times what you're feeling. She'll be lonely and depressed, God forbid she takes her own life (why would you want anyone to feel this way? Much less your own mother?) Think of all the burial expenses in this harsh economy. Stop thinking of only yourself, you tend to make bad decisions when you only think of yourself that's why you had sex without condom cause you were only thinking of yourself. You're making another big mistake by taking your life.

You're not the first HIV patient. There are many dead HIV patients that wished anti retroviral was invented during their time but it wasn't and they died a painful and horrible death, while their parents watched them waste away, literally.

You live in a time where HIV is managable. You're 25 years old. Trust me, there will soon be a universal cure. It's not over. Please

If still +ve, take ur drug, force ur girl to do same not to the suspect level , ure a man, if she's +ve, marry her and have a Medic doctor friend in a clinic for advice and majorly during birth so as to prevent ur unborn kid from aving the said disease.,

Dont scold ur girl heavily coz she may cry out and neighborh ll put mouth Y u are that heavy on her, las las, secret can b out.
