I really pity for Apostle Paul who you are trying so desperately to defend here, because you are embarrassing him greatly, it's even better he doesn't have you to justify his sayings as such because you're actually furthermore complicating the situation for him.

Oga am defending the bible. For all scripture including that written by Paul were inspired by the Holy Spirit - 2 Timothy 3:16.

Is not about pitying me since you have decided to dispute the bible and I have taken it upon myself to uphold it, let's debate and analyze it.

So counter my submission and not come with the excuse of pitying me.

Bring that scripture let's discuss it here.

MISTAKE No. 6

1 Corinthians 14:1-28 (KJV)

Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.
For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.
He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.
I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.

Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine?
And even things without life giving sound, whether pipe or harp, except they give a distinction in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or harped?
For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?
So likewise ye, except ye utter by the tongue words easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken? for ye shall speak into the air.

There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification.
Therefore if I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh shall be a barbarian unto me.
Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.
Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret.
For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.
What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest?
For thou verily givest thanks well, but the other is not edified.
I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all:
Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.
Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.
In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord.

Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.
If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?
But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all:

And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.
How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.
If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret.
But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.

MISTAKE NO. 6 THE CORRECTION Pt. 1

Acts 2:1-12 (KJV)

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,
Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?

Acts 10:44-46 (KJV)

"While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God..."

Acts 11:15 (KJV)

And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.

This is simply the first part of the correction of the mistake No. 6 of apostle Paul's teachings, which gives the idea that speaking in tongues means speaking in unknown tongues, even that which today's church appear to more or less be following.

Hence it's obviously clear that wherever that idea emanated from, that it wasn't from God, or inspired of His Spirit, for these were the first two instances of spoken tongues after the coming of the Holy Ghost upon men, with the first one being in the instance of the Jews, and the second being in the instance of the gentiles.

For both instances despite being spoken tongues with the utterances of the Spirit of God, were yet not unknown to men, as men there present were able to understand what they were saying in both instances, and hence it was a wonder to those of the world as to how those men who were Galilaeans, were able to speak in their own native language, and tongue of the land of their birth, thus making the first sign that the Holy Ghost used to draw those of the world to the gospel of Jesus.

So I would let it speak for itself, so that people can decide which version of speaking in tongues they would rather have, if that of the day of Pentecost, or that of apostle Paul?

Most of such mistakes in the writings of Paul can be traced to his background as a pharisee and also the pride that is usually assiociated with the educated or those that Jesus called "the wise and prudent" which usually makes it hard for them to be able to enter into the kingdom of God. Therefore although Paul was an exception to the re usual order of the pharisees-who were usually hypocrites and corrupt elements who did all they did for their own selfish reasons as they didn't have the love of God in their hearts-as he truly loved God and that's the reason behind his persecution of the church, as he felt he's doing what God required of him, those traits still appeared to have some bearing in his writings. And i think that Paul could really have done with learning at the master feet as the other disciples, for some of such issues which Paul had, had already been addressed by Jesus in the lives of his disciples whlile he was yet here on earth, such as Paul's desire for power and supremacy.
This Bipolar disordered fellow.

MISTAKE NO. 1
"Let your women
keep silence in the
churches: for it is not
permitted unto them
to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience,
as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home : for it is a shame for women to speak in the church
1Corin 14:34-35.(KJV).

This writing of his is one of the most glaring mistakes that he made that even the staunchest of his fans would agree that this saying was never inspired by the Spirit Of God, but purely a product of his flesh, as this is arguably one of the most sexist saying that one could ever come across in the whole of the Bible. For it's not that she shouldn't be allowed to lead a church, for that'd be even less severe even though yet erroneous, but this is that she shouldn't even speak in the church. The pharisees were seen to be very sexist figures as they'd bring a woman to Jesus with the allegation that she was caught in the very act of adultery, and it beggars the question, if it's possible for one to be caught alone in the very act of adultery?
You just pulled out this without considering the backdrop of events that occasioned it. You'd have preferred the Grecian women who were prominent in their time in lotting it over their men as a result of their gods being feminine?
These Gentile female folks brought into the church the stance they held in their pagan temples (Which was men taking orders from women) and without Paul stepping in to quail the tide, there wouldn't have been order for the gospel to thrive.

What Paul said was peculiar to the Corinthian Church, not the entire body of Christ.
Besides, I think your fight is with the Jesus you claim is your Lord. For, He made it so. Men always rule over women. Call it sexist, it changes nothing.

I can't see any female Priest in Israel, I will hardly call Deborah a prophet, for prophets Prophesy. What did she prophesy?

You know why this is? Eve brought that on herself and her female Offspring.

Genesis 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

Anybody wey e pain, make him go beat Jesus.

And if not then where was the man that she was caught in the very act of adultery with? but it was just a reflection of their oppressive and repressive mindset towards those of the opposite sex. Another instance among others was with respect to their opposition to the saying of Jesus concerning marriage when he implied that it was wrong for a man to divorce his wife,(Mt 5:32, 19:3-12), for it was not that they cared at all about the law of Moses but that they didn't have any respect for women, and hence wanted to be divorcing them for any reason at all, so they were only looking justify such actions with the law but Jesus let them know that it was not right but that it was only for the hardness of their hearts that Moses gave such a law. So obviously despite that it was not to that same degree, it was this same sexist trait of the pharisees that reared it ugly head in Paul on that occasion and was behind that demeaning and most insulting saying about women.
This is strictly prejudice which has nothing to do with Jesus-Christ stance, hence he threw it on their faces.

He said, if caught in Adultery both shd be stoned. It wasn't Paul who said the woman shd be killed and let the man go.

jesusjnr:
And so despite that many of the church claim that all of Paul's writings were inspired of God and without any single mistake, it's almost a mission impossible to try and find any church which keeps this particular saying of Paul concerning women. So if it's truly inspired of God as they claim it to be, and not a mistake that emanated from the flesh, then they should tell us why they have refused to keep it? God has shown overtime that he had absolutely nothing to do with that saying of Paul concerning women, as he has used several women mightily in the past not just to speak in the churches but also to lead churches. And one excellent example of such is a woman called Kathryn Kulman who he used to rare degree to show his mighty works, that it'd be difficult to mention the name of several men in the same breath as hers in recent history with respect to the extent to which God used her to show his works, that she became a huge inspiration to many men in the church, inclusive of church leaders such as Benny Hinn
What is the second mistake? You have gone on to criticize others.
Re: The Many Mistakes Of Apostle Paul's Teachings: Mistake No. 7 Correction by Shepherd00: 4:17pm On Apr 20, 2019
jesusjnr:
And Benny Hinn's one of the leading church leaders on Earth, both in name and in terms of mighty works, and if there's a name of anyone of recent times that's synonymous with his ministry, it's got to be Kathryn Kulman, a woman, as he's just can't stop talking about her. So that's an instance in the past that God proved that Paul was on his own when he said that, and up till this day God's still using women mightily in the church. But this is to the confounding of some who'd accepted that saying of Paul concerning women as the word of God, as they think it goes contrary to "the word of God" whenever that happens. But the truth's that it was never the word in the first place but only the word of man and of the flesh, even though it was included in the Bible, and emanated from the teachings of a true apostle of Jesus called Paul. For God is not a respecter of the word of the flesh neither does he keep the rules of men, so God use of women in the church contrary to that saying of Paul's because it's not his word
Again, you got it wrong. Paul wasn't referring to all women in all the Churches.

MISTAKE NO. 1 THE CORRECTION 2
Also the instance of the law of Moses about divorce that's apparently very sexist and anti-women in nature, which Jesus amended to address whatever injustices that's being perpetrated against her on its basis. For Jesus said: "Whosoever putteth
away his wife, and
marrieth another,
committeth adultery:
and whosoever
marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth
adultery."
Lk 16:18.(KJV). This was his amendment of that sexist and anti-women law in the law of Moses about divorce that gave a man the right to put away his wife for every cause, and it could be observed the glaring difference between both, as while that of the law of Moses was heavily tilted in favor of the men, that of Jesus was more balanced for the both sexes to address that injustice. Hence Jesus showed that one of his purposes of coming to the earth was to fight against such weapons of injustice and oppression that are formed especially by men against the women.
But you also forget or deliberately skipped the part that He said the only bases for divorce is when one party commits sexual sin(?)

MISTAKE NO. 1: THE CORRECTION 3
Jesus made another amendment to address such sexist and anti-women mindset, such as the situation where women are blamed for every bad thing that happens to a man and any mistake he makes, which dates back to the beginning of course after the fall of man, when her oppression actually began, when man would blame her for eating the forbidden fruit, as if he was a baby and she forced it into his mouth. So that trend has continued up to this very day as a man'd be asked why he committed adultery and even rape? And he would be like it was the woman that caused it, she seduced me, she wore a revealing dress and so on, as a woman is meant to be blamed for all man's problems and falling into sin but Jesus would say: "Ye have heard that it
was said by them of
old time, Thou shalt
not commit adultery: But I say unto you,
That whosoever
looketh on a woman
to lust after her hath
committed adultery
with her already in his heart.
Mt 5:27-28.(KJV).
I thought you'd say, 'Jesus amended the sexists position by naming at least 3 of His 12Apoatles as women. I don't have a problem with Jesus being sexiest. that one concern you.

You are right!

But not just so low, but so lowest even into hell to peddle words with this satanic vessel that came to me while I was in the heat of conversing with hard mirror an atheist, and despite that he claims to be a christian all the "real devil" christian could contribute was that I was glorifying myself and not God before him.

Just imagine that!

For he didn't even know that he was sent there by the devil to interrupt my spiritually important conversation(you know how long we had to wait for hard mirror for that to take place), so I told the devil that was using him, the only thing that devils deserve to be told, to "get thee behind me satan", and I have been justified ever since.

Don't mind the spiritually brain dead fool, whose only contribution to Christianity as most of his likes here is to be chasing out Christians from Christianity as many of them who are planted by satan in the church, and when they see God use someone to achieve the otherwise they denounce it to be fake, because their spiritual impotency doesn't have the same capacity to produce same fruits for the Kingdom of God.

Haven't answered him a word since, because my silence is the best answer that such an epitome of foolishness and confusion deserves, for before you were my alterego, and now you converted to my version of Christianity, to prove that it's just anything that would justify their demonically motivated agenda, even though it's lies from the pit of hell.

So tell me, would it be wise to dignify such a confused wolf with a response?

Let him keep displaying the confusion and symptoms of someone possessed with the spirit of the Antichrist, and even if he has all his likes in the church with him in that, I am not as spiritually toothless as they are so it's understandable the extent of jealousy and hatred, for if i was a spiritual nonentity as they are, then they would have been perfectly fine with me.

I think d reason dat Jesus didn't have any female apostles was bcus of d practice of d Israelite as more emphasis was on d male child. Jacob had 12sons and a daughter but it was only d 12 sons that God made covenant wt and dat is b basis of all Israel proclamation. D 12 stones 4 d alter whenever d Israelite wanted to make a sacrifice to d Lord. D 12 tribes of Israel, d 12 gates of d cities and the 12 names on d foundation of the gates. And another reason being dat Jesus didn't have a specific place he stayed n it will be inappropriate for women to travel with him and d disciples when they are not married to any of them. The Pharisees and people will have said that lots of negative things like fornication being perpetrated by them. Imagine women sleeping in the mist of men on d mountain tops and traveling all around wt dem. D Pharisees would have had a charge against him. Mind u any time he came to a city where his female disciples stayed, they were always wt him until he left. Don't forget nothing was later said about Dinah, Jacob's daughter. It just shows u were d priority lies n dat was d custom in those days.

MISTAKE No. 6 Correction Pt 2.

What I intended to achieve with first part of Mistake No.6 correction, was just to use the first instance ever of speaking in tongues in the church coupled with the first instance ever of speaking in tongues among the gentiles to correct the generally held view of the church that speaking in tongues meant speaking in unknown tongues.

For if the tongues spoken in those ground breaking instances of the church and the gentiles via the utterances of the Holy Spirit were not unknown, then when did speaking in tongues become speaking in unknown tongues?

Thank God that such history of the first time tongues were spoken in the church in the book of Acts, were preserved and not done away with, if not I would have had the privilege of speaking now in both known and unknown tongues via the utterance of the Holy Spirit as it was at the time.

For the One who gives the utterance of speaking in tongues is the Spirit of God, so are they now saying that the ability of the Holy Spirit is now limited to speaking in unknown tongues?

What transpired on that occasion proves that the Holy Spirit has the capacity that no man has, except that man that has the Holy Spirit, to speak in the language that all men could understand, and so it would be erroneous to try and put His utterances into
the box of unknown tongues.

For if that was what the first church had done, they would have restricted His ability and the remarkable result that He used them to achieve on that very occasion via tongues would have never been achieved

For that was the first sign that announced the church to the world, for men heard the individuals of the church do the impossible on that occasion, which is to speak languages that they have never learnt before, and hence their attraction to the church.

So what's the business of men worrying about the business of he Holy Spirit?

Or do they think that they could possibly know more than Him, that they are trying to dictate to Him what utterances He should give, of unknown or known tongues?

I believe that they should worry about their own part of praying in truth and obeying God's Word, and leave the matter of tongues for the Holy Spirit to handle, for He's the Spirit of God for crying out loud, so He obviously know very what He's doing.

Therefore He can choose to speak to men, the Earth, the seas, Satan, etc., or even to God in heaven, but let Him be the one to decide that, because He knows how to speak the language of Everything.

So bottom line speaking in tongues doesn't mean speaking in unknown tongues as those of today's church who have high respect for the teachings of Paul have consequently misconceived it to be, which has led to extent of fabricated and false spoken tongues(done without the utterances of the Spirit of God) that had filled the churches today, as they erroneously think to say something that one cannot understand meant speaking in tongues.

So having established that, I'd move over to the given passage to address the other errors, but because it's a lengthy one, i'm going to have to fragment it, so that It would be easier to track which i'm actually tackling till i'm done with it.

Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.

This was what Paul said but i would say unto you, do not limit yourself to desiring specific spiritual gifts, but desire to be like Jesus who had the fullness of the Spirit of God in Him, and hence had every spiritual gift to perfection.

For it's the desire of God and to His glory that we be perfect and have the fullness of His Spirit just as Jesus His Son did.

Jesus said:

Luke 6:40 (KJV)

"The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master."

So it's possible to be as the Master Himself to the extent of having the fullness of God's Spirit, so do not let anyone make you to settle for any less of Him.

I have already addressed this to an extent that it's not up man to decide this, but up to the Spirit of God.

For the Spirit of God is the comforter of the church and so He knows how to edify, exhort and comfort the church more than any man could do.

So it's only wise He is allowed to do His job, otherwise it would lead to the extent of lack of edification of the church that is presently the order of the day in today's church.

For Jesus Himself said:

John 6:63 (KJV)

"It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing..."

Therefore unless men allow the Spirit of God the true comforter of the church to do that which He alone can do, they would fail woefully trying to do His job for Him, as has been proven by the result of today's church.

To use the parameters of the feelings and flesh of man to adjudge the things of the Spirit is a very gross error.

For it's like starting on the wrong foot with the Spirit of God, and hence would inevitably lead to a fall.

Because the ways of the Spirit are diametrically opposed to the ways of men and the flesh, so to try and understand everything the Spirit says with the understanding of the flesh, is tantamount to chasing shadows.

For even when one cannot understand with your ears what the Spirit is saying, doesn't mean that nothing is actually going on. For since it's the Spirit of God that's speaking, and it's the Spirit that quickens then that means that works is certainly going on within you or elsewhere.

So just let Him to do what He alone can do, and you'd be surprised at some point to see the result of the work that He'd been doing all the while despite that you were not able to understand it at that particular time.

For I believe that it was how the disciples in the first church had allowed Him to speak freely as He gave them utterance despite that they may not have understood what He was saying for God knows how long.

And then they got to see the result of what the Spirit of God was saying, and it was most comforting, edifying, exhorting to the church because they allowed the Spirit of God to do His job which He alone could do.

And speaking of praying in the Spirit, I consider speaking in tongue to be more of God's response to man's prayer than man praying in the spirit, and the fact that it's the Spirit of God giving the utterances also gives that position credence.

As I also noticed that during my prayer times that there are certain things I would say in my prayer that evoke certain tongue responses like "Holy Ghost power", "Halleluyas" and even "gaskiya"(truth in Hausa) etc., as if to say amen or yes.

So praying in the spirit in my opinion is less when someone speaks in tongues but more when the person prays to God from his heart, for that to me is actually what it means to pray in spirit and in truth.

And it's not a coincidence that God who is a Spirit looks on (the voice of) the heart of man instead of (the voice of)his outward appearance (lips and mouth), for the heart
is the mouth of a man's spirit, and hence
always speaks the truth.

So to pray from the heart means to pray in spirit and in truth, which is the kind of prayer or worship that God seeks.
