you will enjoy it.. thousand of things happend in the books before the beginnig of when the show started. example is the battle of Qohor where 3 thousand unsullied killed 12000 dothrakis and many more fanscinating events... there are more things to be read than what the shows have captured. do you know catlyn stak re-incarnated in the books?
Oh boy! GRRM's mind should be preserved. So so complex.

Thanks.

Pls & pls I beg you in the name of the old, new & fairly-used gods, let's stop. Let's just stop.

Sansa can never know Cersei more than Tyrion, presently, pastly or futuristically. You guys are beginning to give that girl too much credit and it's annoying.

Sansa's base for concluding that Cersie won't play ball is ONLY based on her PAST HISTORY with Cersie. She knows Cersei is a cold hearted bitch and that's all. Tyrion, however, knows Cersei on a more deeper level. Asides that, he knows that even the devil can have something to live for . Are we also forgetting the fact that he had a private meeting with Cersei we are yet to get a glimpse of?

Since we all want to analyze, oya na.

Sansa's statement to Tyrion was made out of nothing but assumption - which luckily for her dumb @ss, turned out correct. It was a quick, impulsive conclusion. Sansa never made that conclusion from a strategic or logical point of view. It was a sharp sharp conclusion made from nothing but past emotion. Is that how you want to win the war, ehh madam Lady of Winterfell?

So because Cersei is a cold-hearted bittch, is that enough reason to just assume and conclude Cersei will rather just sit back and not send her troops to support a war that will keep her alive? Only an illogical person will just assume that a bad and evil person will always remain evil in every situation. This difference in reasoning is why Tyrion is the Queen's hand while Sansa will soon become the Queen's burnt offering, or even better, the Night King's next Archimedes spiral if she doesn't tone-down this so-called new "smartness" she picked on the ground.

So Sansa now sees the future? She sat down and was like "nah nah, that evil, cold b1tch Cersie will rather remain in King's Landing and fight the white-walkers herself without needing our help even though we have two dragons?".

Once again, clear proof that the show writers are beginning to intervene. If no, then what other reason does Sansa have for believing Cersei will not join them? She should tell us. Afterall, she's the Lady of Winterfell and the fate of the lives of multitudes will boil down in part to her decision making. Sansa should tell us, maybe after that, we'll start giving her the full respect she deserves. Till then, she should swerve and the producers too, should behave.

And again, Tyrion is not God. He's bound to make mistakes just like every normal human being. Even almighty Night King that is not human made a costly mistake that could have effectively won him the War when he miscalculated the physics & flight trajectory of his second arrow that could have brought down drogon + Dany in season 7 when she rode to save Johnny boy & co from the white walkers.

A simple extrapolation of Newton's second law of motion keeping in mind that the flight of an arrow is parabolic, hence his initial throw-velocity V(¢×) will have to account for air drag (¶ ) & acceleration due to gravity (g) , could have won him the war. But I don't see anybody mocking him for that.

In Tyrion's case, however, it was CLEARLY implied that he had a change of heart after that private meeting with Cersie. A meeting we are yet to see. Something tells me an apology from Sansa, ya'll, or the producers is not too far off. Somebody must apologise to Tyrion, period. Let's watch & see.

I apologise for the long epistle though. It's a curse I carry.

And for God's sake, Arya. What was she thinking when she called Sansa the smartest person she's ever met. And you agree? Lmao..

That girl is two more statements away from entering the dumb list. A girl has no name, agreed!! A girl now has no brain?? Wtf!!

As for the producers, I swear in the name of old, new & fairly-used gods, if you fffuck this show up for me I will stop watching Game of thrones immidiately after the last episode...

i swear the whole sansa is now smart issue is really annoying... IMO, i don't even think Tyrion made a mistake by trusting cersie.. He knew/knows quite well what cersie is/was will to do to protect her children as we have seen in the series. So he believed her just for one reason alone "she had something to fight for" same thing he said to sansa during their Réunion.. Even the expression on cersie's face when the Wight Jon brought to kingslanding charged at her made me believe her when she said she would send her troops to winterfell. Tho I kinda expected her to have an end game. Just wasn't expecting her to take back her words.

Yes. Me. This very show, GoT.

I watched Season 1 first, back in 2012; they were about midway through Season 2 then, but I was thoroughly hooked. Imagine my joy when I read that it based off a book series; I went in search of those, A Song of Ice and Fire. I believe GRRM had just released Book4 then. You think you've seen spoilers? Wait till you read the books, a world of details, history, back-story, and crucial characters you don't even know about yet. So rich that you discover more things each time you re-read. I've re-read the entire series 3times; considering doing it again when Season 8 ends.

Only drawback is the show has overtaken the books; the author, GRRM, seems to have incurred the worst case of Writer's Laziness I have ever seen, and fans have given up hope on ever seeing the conclusion of one the greatest works of fiction.
Maybe GRRM has become so attached to the last manuscript that he doesn't wanna let go, at any cost. The books have guzzled up a sizeable chunk of his life, I won't be surprised if he has become emotionally entangled with his work, down to the quantum level.

I thought I read something about him almost wrapping up the Publication & release of the final set.

Your assertion on it being one of the greatest work of fiction, I totally agree , even though I'm yet to read it. And with Game of Throne's popularity & religion-like reverence globally, I find it midly amusing , curious actually, that JK Rowling's Harry Potter franchise remains the highest grossing work of literature ever.

Or maybe GRRM's just needs time to get to that level & surpass it. He ought be a billionaire already.

I think it's because hers was adapted into a cinema movie while GRRM's own is TV series, and i think GoT should be the highest grossing tv series of all time if there's anything like that.

I’m in no way Bran Stark, the ever important know-it-all, but I had the strangest dream today about how Season 8 plays out. I would be ok with this ending, albeit it being a little more on the “sweeter” side.

The Battle of Winterfell next episode actually turns out to be a ploy as the Night King distracts the prepared army in the North by sending a small Army of the Dead and directly heading for King’s Landing instead. Think about it. KL has a greater population in a much denser area, making conversion much easier. The final scene of Episode 3 is a dead Viserion torching the alleys of KL as Cersei watches in disdain from a window while drinking a glass of wine. She stays put in the castle until the next few episodes, alone and waiting for death. Qyburn is with her, as he prepares to defend the castle by placing the last stashes of wildfire around the Red Keep. The Golden Company and Euron still are afloat amidst waters as the dead can’t swim.

As for the North, they defeat the army of the dead but with heavy casualties. We lose almost all minor characters except a small few. The dead bodies in the crypts come to life, and people residing their all but perish. They realize that the only way to defeat this threat is to destroy the Night King as he resurrected nearly all of the dead. Daenerys and Jon ride the dragons and the army to The Trident, the Eyrie, and then finally KL. They meet Lord Edmure Tully defending Riverrun with a few guards, still alive. He joins the rest in the fight. Either Jon or Dany sacrifice themselves and let go of their claim to the throne (as foreshadowed by the Jenny of Oldstones song) to take out the NK with the help of Bran. Melisandre comes back with a few red witches to direct them on how to take the NK out. They die, all of them, in the end as they sacrifice themselves in the name of the Lord of Light. The Golden Company is destroyed in the Battle of KL as well, alongside with nearly all of the Red Keep. Cersei, desperate to survive, hides in the cellars beneath. Jaime goes to search for her and mercy-kills her because she knows her death is imminent.

The last big scene of the show is years later at a Tourney in Harrenhal, now a rebuilt castle. This mimics basically the original tourney where it all started. The lords of the major houses all roll in one by one and we see the following:
Sansa as Lady of Winterfell
Yara as Lady of Pyke
Gendry as Lord of Storm’s End
Tyrion as Lord of Casterly Rock
Edmure Tully as Lord of Riverrun
Bronn as Lord of Sunspear
Talla Tarly as Lord of Horn Hill

The king/queen (Jon or Dany) walks in last. They all reconvene to mourn and celebrate all they had lost in the war.

The final scene of the show is YEARS later as we see Sam at Oldtown putting ink to paper and closing a book entitled, “A Song of Ice and Fire.” He is called by Gilly later and both walk to eat supper while discussing Little Sam and his promotion to the Kings/Queens guard. Sam says “he ways always the fighter I never was, that little one.” The camera moves up and we see a picturesque Old Town and a sun shining bright on Westeros. Spring was here, but for how long?
This is no dream, it is your prediction..... kinda make sense though

Best bet is Arya.. with that weapon her boyfriend forged for her. She might as well die in the process.

Valar Morghulis.. even the Night king must die!

spot on. Arya is best positioned to kill the Night King. The request for a special kind of weapon says it all. She might just take the face of a wight and that gives her the opportunity of getting close to the night king.

Jamie will die in Episode 4. How did I know? According to his contract for season 8 would last for only 4 episodes. He's also one of the highest paid. He tried negotiating the contract but GOT producers no gree. Theon is obviously dying. According to the shoot, some of the few people sure to last till Final episode of season 8 is tyrion and Jon.
But trust me, GOT producers are playing with our minds. They're unpredictable

"Take the face of a wight" hahahahahahaha, mhen you are damn funny.

I bet she would have to die first to do that. Do you think the other wights will not know who is odd amongst them when that happens?

The Night king is no fool. He is a general strategist. He knows what they know about him being the one who holds the key to being defeated. Why else does he stay in the shadow?

Arya cannot get close to him. The few persons who can kill him are John Snow, Bran or Sam.
