[quote author=lilwill post=77812056]I've been using the X6 for about three months now and ever since the March update, which was about 300mb ish, the glitches are gone. I just bought mine a week ago but notice that the battery drain faster after the Update. Am I the only one affected and how is the battery life of yours? |

Prechy2836: olayinkajnr: That's totally false information right there. Do you know what manufacturers consider priority when producing a low budget phone? It's the overall cost of production. Manufacturer don't want to spend more producing a low budget phone that will be sold for less than the cost of it's production, we all know how that would end for the manufacturer. The reason why most manufacturers use MTK chips is because it is cheaper than the alternative (the likes of Snapdragon, Nvidia Tegra, Samsung Exynos) and most manufacturers that use these MTK processors, use it in production of low budget phones so as to reduce the overall cost of production. Now you don't expect that same Manufacturer who is trying to minimize cost of production to go and use an expensive screen panel... That would defeat the manufacturers purpose, which is to make the phone affordable to customers. Which is exactly why most low budget smartphones come with 720p resolution screen panel, it is cheaper than the 1080p resolution screen panel, not because the MTK processor can't handle it but because the manufacturer also has to make profit while making affordable phones. In summary, there are MTK powered phones that use 1080p resolution screen panels but as u can guess, they are geared towards flagship pricing. 4 Likes |

Chuksteric: I didn't say you should mention chipsets or SOCS. I said mention just one MTK device that supports 1080p resolution. Not video recording resolution o. 1080p screen resolution. Mention a device and not a chipset like you did. Although, some of those chipsets that you listed can support screen resolution of up to 1080p but the question is which MTK device supports it. |

olayinkajnr: So I am writing an epistle for u Oya let me continue my series of epistles by not only listing one but enough to drive home a point. Tecno Phantom 8 Uses the MediaTek Helio P25 processor with a display resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Tecno I7 Uses the MediaTek MT6750T processor with a display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. TECNO Camon X Pro Uses the MTK Helio P23 processor with a display resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. Infinix Zero 5 Uses the MTK Helio P20 processor with a display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Infinix Note 5 (X604) Uses the MediaTek Hello P23 processor with a display resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels UMidigi Z1 Pro Uses the MTK Helio P20 processor with an AMOLED display resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. Umidigi F1 Uses the MTK Helio P60 processor with a display resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. Xiaomi Mi Play Uses the MTK Helio P35 processor with a display resolution of 2280 x 1080 Pixel. Huawei Honor 3X Pro Uses the MediaTek MT6592 processor, with a display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. MEIZU M5 Note Uses the MTK Helio P10 processor with a display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Moto M Uses the MTK Helio P15 processor with a display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Elephone P8 3D Uses the MTK MT6750T processor with a display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Elephone S7 Uses the MTK Helio X20 MT6797 processor with a display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. UmiDigi Z2 Pro Uses the MTK Helio P60 processor with a display resolution of 2246 x 1080 pixels. DOOGEE S60 Uses the MTK Helio P25 processor with a display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Ulefone T1 Uses the MTK Helio P25 processor with a display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Elephone Z1 Uses the MTK Helio P20 processor with a display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels Alcatel OneTouch Hero 2 Uses the MediaTek MT6592 processor with a display resolution of 1920 × 1080p. As you can see, MTK processors do support 1080p full hd resolutions and even AMOLED displays. If that is not enough to convince you, then u can go and jump off Kilimanjaro... I can not come and kill myself for u It's only on Nairaland that you will correct someone and rather than being thanked for the correction, the person will be upset at his own ignorance and start attacking you for making obvious his ignorance. Because I answer person question I don turn to epistle writer 5 Likes |

DaveHert: You see dude, you wanted to correct me but you didn't list devices that supports 1080p resolution at first. That's a dumb way to make corrections and not by writing epistles like you did at first. I'm in no way upset that you corrected me, after all we are all here to learn. In a saner clime, to drive home a point, you have to bring references which was what you failed to do at first and instead wrote long notes that I'm less interested in. What happens to saying, that's totally false, there are MTK devices that supports 1080p resolution and examples are so so and so. And I didn't attack you for your information, kindly state where I attacked you in your first post. Or is saying you wrote an epistle an attack? That's what it is - an epistle coz it's long. I'm not dumb to attack someone when I'm willing to know what I don't know. Stop all this shitty conclusive statements about someone's reaction to your posts and stop labelling someone ignorant because they countered you and only asked for a simple example of what they don't know. That's how to teach and make known a knowledge. Btw, thanks for listing more than one. I just added to my knowledge bank. And have you ever set your memory card as your internal memory (not portable memory o) on your Nokia device? One love. 1 Like |
