Your last post was indeed Insightful I wonder why our uncle up there said it's an epistle. Nice you cleared him here too

Weldone Mr. Asslicker.

It is an epistle so far it didn't address what we are talking about.

You want to clear air on something, list some references (examples). Go straight to the point and stop telling us what we already know.

I only asked for an example and not a long note.

Although, thank God you agreed on one thing. I'm his uncle grin grin

It's only on Nairaland that you will correct someone and rather than being thanked for the correction, the person will be upset at his own ignorance and start attacking you for making obvious his ignorance.

Because I answer person question I don turn to epistle writerundecided undecided

Thank you.

I and @DaveHert have cleared the misconception.

There's a difference between a false info and when someone have no idea about what he's saying. Get that first before labeling everything false.

It is a misconception and not a false info.

Apparently, @DaveHert did more justice to that compared to you.

Thank you.

I'm in no way upset that you corrected me, after all we are all here to learn.

That's good! Well allow me the honour of dissecting this excuse of a counter reply and just maybe you can learn one or two things about countering someone from it. Here goes another epistle... wink

olayinkajnr:

You see dude, you wanted to correct me but you didn't list devices that supports 1080p resolution at first. That's a dumb way to make corrections and not by writing epistles like you did at first.

In a saner clime, to drive home a point, you have to bring references which was what you failed to do at first and instead wrote long notes that I'm less interested in.

Huh? You are a very fine one to talk. Let me requote the original question below.

Prechy2836:

Yes they have improved but is it their chips that doesn't support 1080p resolution.. dunno read some where most of their chips don't support 1080p resolution..
True??

And how did u answer that?

True

And then u have the effrontery to make bold statement about referencing my answer, you could not even make a comprehensive sentence let alone provide reference to support your false one worded claim.

I get that u have a phobia for long winded replies but even a slowpoke can tell that the person is asking that question because he is confused about something false he might have read somewhere. And what do u do? Without even attempting to at least Google and confirm, you quickly support the false information. Now my question to u is what is ignorance defined as?

Let me help you Google it for a short answer since u seem to hate anything long winded.

Ignorance: lack of knowledge or information.

Which brings me to this part of your rant.

Stop all this shitty conclusive statements about someone's reaction to your posts and stop labelling someone ignorant because they countered you and only asked for a simple example of what they don't know.

With u now knowing what ignorance is, do u still consider my calling u ignorant false? Or my statement to be a conclusive statement?

U countered me? U countered who? What is ur understanding of countering someone?

And I didn't attack you for your information, kindly state where I attacked you in your first post. Or is saying you wrote an epistle an attack? That's what it is - an epistle coz it's long. I'm not dumb to attack someone when I'm willing to know what I don't know.

Let me requote ur so called counter and dissect it individually.

Example of MTK devices that supports 1080p resolution bro?
That's u asking me to proof that I know what am talking about by providing examples. You should have left it at that if ur intent was truly to acquire knowledge.

Just list one.
That's u daring me.

No be by writing epistles.
That's u attacking me, that's u insulting me. That's what calling someone's reply an Epistle is, an attack.
Just list one.
Another dare

Now where is the counter? U do well to use a dictionary next time before picking ur words loosely. You seem to be in such a hurry to use a word u learnt newly that u ended up misusing it. Let me explain, using Google's definitions.

Epistle (noun FORMAL•HUMOROUS):
A letter.
a poem or other literary work in the form of a letter or series of letters.
a book of the New Testament in the form of a letter from an Apostle.
Examples:
"activists firing off angry epistles"
"St Paul's Epistle to the Romans"

synonyms: letter, missive, communication, written message, written communication, dispatch, report, bulletin, note, line.

Now let me point out the word u ought to have used and it wouldn't have been so much as an attack or insult but an observation.

Long Winded: (of speech or writing) continuing at tedious length.
Example: "a long-winded question/reply/writeup"

In a formal setting, your use of Epistle to describe my reply might have passed if it had any resemblance of an Epistle but ur use of it here was for its humorous intent, thus it is an attack on my person.

What happens to saying, that's totally false, there are MTK devices that supports 1080p resolution and examples are so so and so.

Did u read my reply backwards? Or are u just grasping at straws (in ur case - air)? I explicitly stated that the information and ur claim were both false, and I gave reason for that. You faulting me for not having provided an example is valid, but at the same time was never a compulsory requisite I had to factor into my reply to that question.

That's how to teach and make known a knowledge.
Now this is how u counter someone, not ur previous (as my uncle would call it) "ass licking" rant.

Btw, thanks for listing more than one. I just added to my knowledge bank
Glad I could help...

I see u modified your post to include this
And have you ever set your memory card as your internal memory (not portable memory o) on your Nokia device?

Not on my Nokia, only on my previous phones. Will probably do that once my Mcard arrives - as it is still in transit.

One love... to my uncle cheesy wink

Ok. I don't have strength for all that.

But anyways, I've been wondering why my SD card always gets corrupted whenever it's set to internal storage after some time.

It's an original SD card and I first observed that issue on my Nokia 5.1 device before getting the Nokia 3.1.

But u have strength to start arguments sheyundecided

An SD card that gets corrupt on its own over time when used as internal storage, coupled with the fact that the same SD card has behaved the same way in two different phones is an obvious proof that your so called original SD card is 99% fake.

The 1% left is me believing that it might have been original at one point and got bad later on.

I think it has to do with the OS.

This is not the first SD card with issue. All original even.

It is very okay if used as portable storage but if used as internal storage, it gets corrupt after 3-5 days.

Surprisingly, if my is used as a portable storage instead of internal storage, it will be very okay and won't delete any files.

But the moment I format it as internal storage, give it 5 days max, it will corrupt.

You can cancel the order if it has not yet been shipped and has not yet been confirmed by you - i.e you haven't been contacted yet by a customer care rep to confirm your order. All you have to do is cancel when they call.

But you can't use their website or call Jumia to cancel your order if it has already shipped and is in transit, they don't seem to have a facility for that yet.

All you have to do is to is reject the order once the delivery guy contacts you, that's the only option available.

DaveHert:

You can cancel the order if it has not yet been shipped and has not yet been confirmed by you - i.e you haven't been contacted yet by a customer care rep to confirm your order. All you have to do is cancel when they call.

But you can't use their website or call Jumia to cancel your order if it has already shipped and is in transit, they don't seem to have a facility for that yet.

All you have to do is to is reject the order once the delivery guy contacts you, that's the only option available.
Thanks Oga Dave, please can I have some personal conversation with you on whatsapp please, kindly give me your whatsapp number....
