At the hospital, i was told not to add anything that it will fall off by itself. For my son, i didn't add anything and it fell off but this one is till attached even after 2 weeks. It's not smelling neither does it have any pus but it is till attached. My mum is asking me to use methylated spirit tobe cleaning it but the hospital said i shouldnt add anything that it will fall off. pls help as i am getting really afraid is somerhing is wrong.

constant cleaning with methylated spirit and cotton wool alone at intervals is enough and safer.

We are still fighting to take it sha but the question is I made mashed banana n Avocado paste n fed him.. Last night he ate it, today he stooled it out almost immediately with the poo being hard n he was wriggling while pooing.. It's hard to drink water but I tried n he took some... Does anyone k ow why the poo was strong n why it came out as soon as he was eating it ? N what can I do to make him digest the puree better? Kindly help a FTM

Honestly, I cant say, my kid rejected solids at that age so I kept on breastfeeding.

My boy don't like banana, mashed or pureed. Any of his cereals that contains it, he always throw it up after eating. I give him ripe plantain, cooked and blended with AS veggie beans. He's 10m+
